but like seriously it is twice TWICE i hear him spin. he is but absolutely terrible. both times he mixed like a rookie, but like a ROOKIE, not beat matching at all, both times i heard him he would go from tribal to prog house as if he was pressing next on a cd player like comon i could do better than that. there so many talented dj's in this city who would die to play their tribal stuff at stereo and know what the crowd likes because they are part of it every weekend and you guys put this guy? please if theres someone on this board representing stereo hear me out and take it into serious consideration. i always come in a group of minimum 10 people and i keep bringing more cause i love the place and i saw his name last night and i couldnt believe my eyes i wanted a refund, but then sandy came on and THANK GOD FOR THAT!!! ill give you a hint : at the end of the night around 0800 am you should put steve bear so you can get everyone out. besides that absolutely forbid him to open, whoever opened last week between 2-430 was AMAZING compared to this week...absolutely dissapointed!! keep him away from the decks! at least till 0800-0900...jeez hes disgraceful lol

i agree with this. saw him a few times, and it was always the same story.
i guess it automatically ups the headliners performance.
and no, keep him away from the 0800-0900 slot too, i like ending my nights on a GOOD note.

Okay, my friend had her bday at Stereo and I was in town for some other stuff so I decided to finally check out the "new Stereo".... I came in around 5 oclock when Sandy Rivera was coming on... I heard stereo sound as I expected... Basically house music, some crappy tribal and a bit of prog here and there....
Having been going to Circus for every black out event my standards from what should I expect from a club have definitely dropped...
First of all Stereo was freaking full.... Lots of people, great crowd the gays on the right and the heteros on the left... Lots and lots of good looking people, everybody partying away... You can actually go on the dancefloor, all of this made me forget for a bit about how crappy the music really was for a little bit....
The sound well... It is really awesome very punchy defined bass and not overpowering mids and highs, untill Sandy started to be an idiot behind the decks...
Next time I will definitely go check out Stereo for a serious booking because this club is freaking awesome...
