Speaking of Canada Day - I caught his last set at ((())), which was coincidentally July 1st 2005. Def one for the books for me. All things Dirty Sleazy Dark.
For quite a few yrs he did Guv on the day before the 1st (wearing Canada flag and all) of July, but this yr he's doing it the night following Stereo. Will be different not to have him there this yr. |

Yup, tech house tribal with African chants that sounds like 2004, very interesting and original indeed.
I saw him not long ago in an after-hour context, and that tribal phase is not nearly as epic as what I heard him do in the past.
Watching Youtube videos at home doesn't really give you a good idea. |

gahhhhhhhhh! ive been DYING for many many many weeks to post that Lawler was making a comeback. D-Y-I-N-G. finally, finally, FINALLY! been 5 yrs since he's played that room, i've taken off the 19th, i'm ing psyched.
