He's only made two films since those efforts, and True Lies was hardly terrible. One forgettable film is not enough to ruin a director's reputation. When it comes to smart sci-fi action, James Cameron is the best in the business, and I will give him a chance. |

| i thought true lies sucked too...it just isn't my type of movie. Action that is too over the top just loses me. The scene with the fighter jet at the end was just epic cheese. |

Yeah, it was unrealistic, you can't really genetically engineer dinosaurs out of mosquitoes covered in amber. But you know what? Alien and Aliens are unrealistic. And Terminator. All those movies kick ass, but I don't see why a movie where a T-Rex eats a bastard lawyer and velociraptors rip up is so horrible. What other movie has there ever been about Dinosaurs that is worth anything? Are Dinosaurs some forbidden subject of film making? |
