You do realise you're making the very same mistake religious zealots make, right? |
Yes, well, I do not consider it a mistake.
There has to be unity, and while the world might work better if everyone was one of the x y and z religions out there, I would rather see our species be united under scientific progress for the propagation and self-sustaining purposes of continuing our existence in the universe. |

It's not saving humanity if you're murdering most of the world's inhabitants - it's just genocide. |
The bible preached genocide as well. What do you think the great flood was? Its a purification and a nullification of the ills that our species faces. Old ideas are poison in our communal blood. |

I'm not religious! I don't believe in god or the bible or any of that stuff! |

How do you solve it then? There is an obvious problem here. What is your solution? At least I am putting ideas on the table. |

What? That is how I feel. Abolition of religion is the only way to save humanity. |
I hope you and your family end up in a gas chaimber first - it is obvious the evolution has taken a wrong turn up your family tree, erm, pole, you ignorant twat. GDIAF |

And a religious zealot would rather see our species be united under the banner of God and love and all things cuddly.

Which one keeps us alive longer, in existence? If you think this is only temporary what is the point in trying? You have eternal salvation and the afterlife to reward you for your sacrifices on earth.
Well seeing that is utterly and totally false, then well I would rather see us united in progress towards a more rewarding and sustaining life in the NOW. |

I only suggest what is coldly logical.

Hay guys my god is gayer than your god.
Did this Israeli-Palestinian debate just turn into God vs. No God debate? Ugh, I'm gonna go do something productive now. |

Joss, I guess you don't live in the US because if you did, your goal is to amend the first amendment of the Bill of Rights which states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof".
The US was founded on these beliefs and if you think that the future of the world is going in a direction even remotely resembling atheism, you're kidding yourself and because you are so far detached from reality, it kinda makes you and your kind seem pretty foolish. |
