OMG, so am I! Except I'm anti-Israel and anti-Palestine, and would rather see them come up with a third secular country where Palestinians and Israelis could coexist with one less problem to care about (namely, religion).
That would actually be great. If they could get rid of all the Hamas, other terrorist organizations, and extreme orthodox Jews who shave their heads and then wear wigs, then it'd be an awesome country.

That's because there's about a billion Muslims screaming and running around burning Israeli flags. It gets more attention when you throw fits.

US coast guard wouldn't open fire on people who don't have guns.
In response to some of the previous points raised: 5 prior ships have been allowed to pass through the blockade, which did so safely and without people getting killed. Why this one, now? Clearly, there was a mistake in the chain of command.
IHH has consultative membership status with the UN and have been providing humanitarian relief for many war-torn regions and go where others don't. As for getting on the ship for martyrdom, I call BS. I saw a quote somewhere referring to how some of these activists wrote their "last will and testatment" and that this is a suicide mission. News flash: before going on any journey (even a 5-hr road trip) it makes sense for anyone (not just Muslim) to have a will in a safe place in case of death. That's just common sense.
ps. as far as Jake Benson's comments go, he doesn't exist. No such thing as a gay jew.

Comrade Stalin, what exactly do you mean by "democracy"? AFAIK, in Soviet Russia democracy votes for you.
Yea, whatever. You know Hamas won fair and square and the blockade is one giant humanitarian disaster which will only boil the hatred of a subjugated nation.

US Coast guard would probably shoot if someone was stabbing them. Although personally I ing hate guns. The soldiers should have just use tazers.

Well I'll be honest I don't know why this one. Maybe it was different? Maybe it was videos like this that made it seem like they weren't just going to give aid but start a fight?

I don't see homosexuals doing this every time they go on a gay Atlantis cruise in the Caribbean. No, this is not common sense. This is crazy Muslims willing to risk their lives to start fights, and then claim victims when they got exactly what they wanted.

So did Ahmadinejad. Doesn't make him US's BFF. Neither Hugo Chavez. Neither bunch of other twats. Just because democratically elected leader is in power, that doesn't exactly mean that all is cool now. Especially when aforementioned elected leader decides to stir up and call for erradication of his "neighbor".
Reality check: Democracy is a word without a true meaning. Even in US.

Lira, that's blantantly incorrect and ignorant. They were given an option to have the aid delivered to Gaza - but not themselves. They chose not to take that as an option.
Well, there's always the issue of trust, isn't there?

If I decided to put a gang of idiots and take them to your country's shore and declare ourselves humanitarians - what chance do I stand of sending whatever I brought along with me past your border patrol if my intent was to provide humanitarian aid to a group your government has classifed (and has proven itself) as hostile to the government? Seriously.
And I never said that wasn't a problem in itself.

Of all people, I'd imagine you would see the difference here.
And I do. All I'm saying is that it's not hard to see why there's such a commotion around this episode.

Again, using the same analogy - they were NOT STANDING AROUND with camcorders and flower bouquettes and some Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches, waiting for IDF. They did not turn around, they did not dock, they took no other option offered via peaceful means.
And that's why they're a bunch of bastards as well. I never said I supported them :conf:

They had a point either provoke or de-legimatise Israeli government. Let's not debate the blokade here - they did not say "our intention is to break the blockade". They said - "we want to bring aid to Gaza". They were given the means to get aid to Gaza - they found that insufficient. What other outcome did you or anyone else expect? Especially after attacking the IDF that has warned them?
In all honesty? I think they should have surrounded them and let them go through under heavy surveillance, waiting for them to do something hostile (other than just crossing the blockade, which made them look like heroes).

Let it sink in - they were warned, they knew what they were doing. Everyone else wants to ignore the rest, they just want to focus on a result.
If you don't want burns, don't stick your hand in a fire. If you stick your hand in a fire, don't be surprised to get burned.
It is AS SIMPLE as that. Look at bigger picture, I know you're capable of that.
I am looking, and that's why I'm telling why it happened the way it did. I think there are more cunts in both sides of this story than in the whole life of a gynaecologist, and people keep picking sides as if one of them stank less.

We're not blockading Venezuela of the basic necessities of life because Hugo Chavez won an election.

You're right, they don't have such problem at all.
