suarez is the man. he did what he had to do. whatever gets you the win.
id take more honour in that then faking a foul. and its not like ghana didnt have a chance to win the game before penalties. the penalty kick wasn't taken very seriously. |

| i was rooting for ghana the whole way, but , with penalty shots like that you don't even deserve to be on the ing team!! disgraceful!!!!!!! |

one of the most despicable displays of morality i have ever seen displayed in a sporting event.
The smile on Suarez's face after Gyan missed the penalty was just gut wrenching. I lost all respect for him after that. Hard to say I don't respect the Uruguayan team because they HAVE played well this tournament. But they deserved to lose yesterday...hands down (or up).
Great effort by Ghana. They were entertaining, agressive and played with more heart than Suarez will ever show in his career.
good on them |

HUGE match-up starting in a few min!!!!! Argentina vs Germany - the winner of this game will most likely take the cup IMO :)
Predictions?
2-1 Germany wins |

This is the only game I was correct. Germany over Argentina.
Damn... Ghana should have won yesterday. I hate shoot outs. |

i thought argentina would've come out a lot stronger than they did - they played so weak!! can't even hit the net, sky high shots, poor execution, messi didn't do anything ... couldn't break germany's defense for the longest time
germany was all over them!! |

MASSIVE WIN.
So much hype over this Argentina side, but they can't deliver when it matters.
Schweini had Messi in his back pocket all day. Best midfield in the world imo.
Germany is absolutely UNFORGIVING going forward, so much class and proficient finishing.
We're peaking and I don't see anyone stopping us.
I couldn't be prouder of these kids, they all play together and are 100% committed to Low's system. |

sooo my new selection for the cup
1. Spain
2. The Dutch
3. Germans
4. Uruguay
the only spot that i change is 2 from brazil to holland.
p.s argentina game was a joke, what ever team counts a lot on a single player will not win, kaka/ronaldo/messi no show
+ argentina should have never even beat mexico, karma really is a bitch! :) |

Sorry, but I don't get your logic. Suarez did what any other player would do in that situation; most people on any team would expect their team mate to risk getting sent off if it prevented a goal and it did. I don't think seeing him celebrate was any great offense either. It's not like Uruguay has this sort of run every WC and knowing that a PK was saved under those circumstances would bring a positive emotion out of anyone.
On the other hand, I don't think Ghana are in any position to point the finger at anyone. They had a golden oppurtunity to win the game and they didn't. They were definetely the side with more gas in the tank as Uruguay were going for PK's since the whistle sounded for overtime. On top of that, they had the ultimate oppurtunity to win. A PK with a great chance of the final whistle being blown directly after would have guarenteed a semi birth. Most teams would give a limb for a half chance in overtime let alone a PK with no time added on after. Certainly there is no way they can point the finger else where. |

What a boring world cup. What's next, Paraguay taking out Spain?
