I honestly would have liked to have seen a different Archbishop or Cardinal in the debate. I felt like there was certainly a language barrier there. I thought his heavy accent made a bit hard at times to understand, and that there were certain parts of the debate where he seemed to have some difficulty expressing himself clearly and concisely.
The atheist side of the argument certainly won the debate if it was a measure of eloquence. I think the debate would have been better served to have some more well-spoken proponents of Catholicism on the other side of it. |
