I did. The first time. My opinion is exactly the same.
So what if they funded schools? You think there isn't more to it than just education? Everyone has motives and their motive is the propagation of their ideals. |

I'm a civilian, I don't think military ideals and thought processes are relevant to a general existence. That's why we separate the military from civilian life.
Anyway, it. I don't care. I'm on holidays, I'm not being a philosophical wanker any more this year. Time to go out and get drunk, instead of being a cooped up nerd discussing the merits of religion and other useless . |

Science: Is solely responsible for the technological progress we have made so far since our species arose.
Religion: Is solely responsible for retarding technological progress because the science behind it went against the prevailing theology.
Result: Science has always won in the end and religion always the one having to "adjust" the dogma to fit the science.
So why be religious in the first place? It all comes down to fear of one's own death and what happens to consciousness. |
