Why does God have to be all-knowing, and all-good?

He does not, I suppose, but lots of Christians think he needs to be.

For all they know, God is a dick.

If God were a dick, who would want to worship him or do what he said? :p

Well if he's a dick, and he controls what happens to you when you die, you better try to get on his good side.

Well, then it all depends on whether he cares about sincerity, or just likes to watch people kiss his ass regardless of whether they really like him or not. Probably the latter, assuming he is a dick.

I'd like to think he's exactly like this.

I've always thought about how we recited the Nicene Creed near the end of every mass, and where it says "He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, of his kingdom there is no end."
Imagine that actually happening. How many bricks would be shat.

Weird, we don't have the "of his kingdom there is no end" bit in Portuguese...
