So, to anyone who´s been to all-day festivals like these in Holland before:
How´s the weather gonna be ? What should I wear / bring ?
I mean, I hope the sun shines and all...
How "dry" is the earth there going to be ? (important for my girl and her choice of shoes ;) )
Are the stages in tents or all open-air (ie if it rains, happens) ?
How cold does it get late in the evening ? (again for my girl)
We´re not much into festivals, as you can see from my questions - more like clubbing, so we don´t have much experience apart from a couple of Goa-parties here. |

The weather is going to be great!! The place where the festival is called FLORIADETERREIN and that's a beautiful place with lots of grass and flowers. :D:D
If you visit the site you see a navigator of the festival and you can see how nice the place is.

1: The sun is shining for 2 weeks now, but it is still holland so everything can hapen. So bring some good-weather clothes and also bad-weather clothes.(trenchcoat, sweater.) When you at your hotel or near mysteryland with your car, look at the sky and then decide what if you are gonna wear your badweather clothes or good weather clothes. And look at this thread frequently, weather updates will be posted here.
2: In holland the earth is really dry at the moment, but there are thunderstorms coming. Just as above said, look at this thread frequently. But No matter how the earth is going to be, wet or dry, high heels is not very good to party all day. Just choose the shoes who feels the best and you are sure off that you can party all day on.
3: If i m correct there are 2 outdoor stages and about 9 tents. (im not going so i dont have the precise information) So if it rains you can go in a tent and party. Tent tents have a wooden floor, so you are not standing in the mud, Like UK festivals.
4: How cold in the evening? again it depends at the weather forecasts, at the moment the temperature at night is about 20-25 so thats nice.
