Is this thread new? Im alittle confused here, in the initial post the judging said it will be held during January 2003? lol.. that doesnt make sense to me.

Anyways. Count me in for sure. I just hope this isnt like the previous remix comp I was in (i forgot what number.. 2 or 3?) when the judging never really took place properly.

We're getting a good number of contestants...bah to thbose dropping out....make a dub with minimal vocal use! :p

everyone: soon we should have enough contastants/time, so we can oficially start, and set a finnish/judging date.
can everyone who has offered to judge pm me, so we can get that all worked out.

So how long do you guys think this should last?
I think a month is more the enough for everyone to finish their track.:whip:

NOOOONOOOOO a month ISN'T enough! The Perpetuous Dreamer Remix contest took two months (If I'm correct) and I barely made it.
I have other things to do besides remixing, so please at least two months! |

2 months for one track?
A track which you have the vocal, the bassline and leading tune for?
How long do you take making an entirely new track then?
I must say i have no experience in remixes and online remix contests, so i wouldn't know what time it usualy takes.
But 2 month just seems like such a long long time to do one remix.
I bet most people have lots of other stuff to do besides remixes aswell, including myself, but this is just for fun right? |

yeah 2 months seems a long time
but as he said people do have other things like jobs etc and cant always manage to get near their remix!
but i reckon a month is fine (yes im a person with a job etc) |
