oh just another thought.
As this track is being judged by set judges, maybe upon listening to the track the judges can make a little comment about the track whether it wins or not, just to get some judges feedback to see where the losing tracks went wrong where the winning one succeded :)
Or is that asking too much ?

Anyone else having acapella difficulties?

Anyone got any tips on how to arrange the acapella? It's pretty damn hard to get the vocals fit.
Bren-F
Take the acapella into a WAV editor such as 'GoldWave' and slice it up into seperate parts (IE first verse, second...chorus etc) then load them into what ever music prog you are using seperatly. This will give you a lot more control over the points in which the vocals come in.
Also remember that not all vocals start on the first beat of each bar. Some start a few beats into it. I belive the vox for this start at around halfway through the second beat (correct me if I am wrong)

Hope this helps :D

hey, don't worry, i'm sure less than half will actually finish it on time heh. and i think it's a good idea that the judges write reviews :)

I mean cuz of the tune, some of the big names, i.e. haak and project t aint choose to join which means that some of the other producers might have a chance of winnin rather than the usual good producers that we know would usually win!
