yes, some moments were cheesy, some moments were too predictable, some moments could be considered a letdown... yes, i didn't like it
BUT I LOVED IT!
i came out of the theatre smiling (and yes, i did go to see it alone)
it was awesome, everyone must see it, although you will either love it or hate it, no place inbetween.
for all of you who expected philosophy... obviously, you missed it. but if you expected more, go watch waking life (boring, but still one of my favorite movies) or something like that. the matrix is about a war.
and you know what the worst part about the movie was??? S who couldn't keep their mouths shut and had to either boo or pfft every hit by agent smith, machine death, or cheesy line. ing selfish s who spent their money not to at least try and enjoy the show, but ruing it for everybody else, that's what i hated the most. |

what sucked the most about revolutions was the lack of kung-fu and fight scenes. i thought that the end battle between neo and smith was going to be the coolest kung-fu/bullettime battle with new moves that id never seen and a bunch of other cool , i couldnt belive that they buit up to that battle the whole movei and it was them flying around like that running into each other. and then to top it off neo doesnt even beat smith. the movie wouldve been so much better if they added some better fight scenes.
in the other matrix movies my favorite scenes are all the fighting scenes, the fist training fight scene, the first neo/smith fight, and the neo fight with the weapons form reloaded were all kickass fights, to end the movie without one was such a let down.
and also the amount of cg scenes was also dissapointing. even though they look good they can never look real and i can never really accept them, the entire last battle was such a long war scene with such crappy characters like GI jane and that ammo boy.
i never expected this last movie to have that great an ending in terms of story but i at least thought they would supplement with awesome action adn fight scenes like in reloaded, but even that sucked in revolutions which is really why i hated this movie |

well, if they added the coolest bullettime / kung fu battle ever to the ending, i can totally see ppl saying how it was overdone and stuff.
and about the ending... IMHO, it was really practically impossible to come up with a good ending, especially after people written books on what should go on in the 3rd one...
