I thought it was a steaming pile of dog , absolute worst ending they couldve written, i am so ing pissed at it omg, iw ant to punch those brothers in the face. I watched the first matrix somewhere between 300 to 400 times, the second one at least 50. This one, once is enough it sucked schlong, the action scenes were good, but the ending was such a let down, that it really ruined the whole movie and partially the series as a whole for me, it was like they threw together some horse in a rush as they were on their way to take a .
Matrix movie sequence went:
The Matrix:Anime style live action
Reloaded: Anime style live action
Revolutions: Disney movie

happy ending was bull, they shouldve had Neo wake up like the kid did, or even partially wake up like the athlete did in the animatrix that would've been so much better. Instead of this hippie lets hold hands and skip ahhahahaa WEEEEEEEEE bull. Everythign foreshadowed an ending that made it seem like they were fighting in vein, had they written it where everyone was plugged in and zion was a sub program for the systematic anomaly and others who refused to accept the original matrix it woudlve made sense why smith could take over bane, why neo could sense the core, why so much happened, rather than this fairy tale cinderella bull. BAH BAH BAH!! give me back my money and my dreams for a good ending! BAH
Ripped Bag
*shrugs*
Just getting over the initial excitement of seeing it, and yeah. Realizing how much the end sucked seriously donkey balls.

Bleh.. maybe they'll have alternate endings on the DVD ??

Spoiler alert

A horrible disappointment. Two decent action scenes (Battle of Zion & Final Showdown) - although not up to the standard of the highway chase from Reloaded.
Acting is bad - really really bad. I cringed when Trinity died and wanted to kill the directors when Neo went to see the Oracle (who might represent the worst acting in the movie - she's tied with the Commander from Zion).
Furthermore, the pacing of the movie is off by a long shot. Several scenes (such as Trinity dying) are way overdone, whereas others are rushed, leaving the poor viewer with little overview of what the f*ck is going on.
However, the absolutely worst aspect of this movie is the plot. Occrider's theory of the W-brothers dropping ecstacy might be correct - personally I'm inclined to believe that Warner Brothers killed them sometime during the shooting of Reloaded and put a rookie in charge of rewriting the script (and directing it). Apart from the huge holes in the plot, its main failing is that it do not follow through on the topics it introduces.
I wasn't expecting to have answers to ancient philosophical problems handed to me on a silver plate, but I was expecting for them to be an integral part of the plot, like in the Matrix, not just conversations artificially plastered all over the place.

You all are sad sad sad.

The best part of the movie is that it kept you guessing through out. Also realize that with a movie of this caliber you need to look deeper than face value. There is symbolism, and so much you can look into. I was very happy with the turn out. Yes it did leave some questions hanging, but if everything were to be answered... the movie would be 4-9 hours long. You take care of the main plot and then resolve it.

And besides... with a movie series that broke new grounds revolutionizing the whole industry... how can you expect anything to top the first one?? Nothing will ever be able to top it, but the third one was amazing. I will say that much.

Just saw it it was Awesome. It actually had an ending. Better than any ending I could come up with. But I don't get what the orical says about neo at the very end of the movie. :tongue3

P.S. Ok, all you people ragin on how bad this movie is. You go make a movie and spend a whole lot of money, time makin it, and plugin in code for animation and sequencing. Then let us rag on your . If you really have good technical skills on reconizing how quality this movie was put together, you would not be raggin on it.:D
