Ccontains spoilers!

Hmmm - I just saw it today.

I was amazed by some parts. For example the huge sentinel battle - which was fantastic, and the final battle was superbly done.

But I think the part which everyone's disappointed about is the ending. I think it was open in some ways, but certainly not fully.

The whole idea of an "equation" that needed to be balanced - was an interesting concept. So the only way to solve it was for Neo and Smith to "become one" - neutralising the equation like acid and alkali coming together.

I thought the final sequences were weak.. and perhaps a little cheesey for my tastes.

There's probably alot of the film that I don't yet grasp and may increase my appreciation for it.

Nevertheless, you can't help but appreciate it's cinematic brilliance, even thought the plot may have fallen short of the mark

But it does ends , neo returns to the source and the prophecy fulfilled

I absolutely loved it! Some people will dislike it because they don't understand it fully or the ending wasn't the way they wanted it (imo).

I LOVED IT!!!

mini spoiler

did anyone else fall in love with the climactic sound track during the final fight between neo and smith? i love that style!

bigger spoiler

i think there really was no open end, it was definitely a close.
there is now peace between humans and machines and those humans that want out of 'captivity' as agreed upon by the last dialog between the oracle and the architect. thats is much of an end as you can get

btw did anyone else think about the oracle as being a database (oracle database... hehe... pun intended). she is all knowing about everything in the matrix, so is a database, it contains all the info in a 'matrix'.

isn't it the other way around, oracle named theirself after oracle cause their databases knows everything... i mean, isn't oracle from the greek mythology or something?

yeha it was good
the ending was a bit rubbish though. :toothless
and the whole thing about Neo and Smith was good. The best new special effect yet was the slow mo punch thru the water droplets :D
the face is pretty cool too (you know what i mean)

What i still don't get is Smith's role in the whole thing!

i heard it is

omg this movie IN SUCKED !!!! way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way TOO MANY PLOT HOLES!......jesus, i thought after seeing 2 (where they made a mess of everything) that they would fully explain all the about Neo and how he do this n that and many other things....WTF!

i hated it in my opinion. as far as im concerned the matrix reloaded and revolutions don't count and are totally seperate from the very first matrix movie.

***damnit, i hate sequels.

Oh dear god...

Well, i've seen it and to be honest, I think some of the fans predictions about the third film were far better than the actual ending. I dont feel as though Revolutions answered any of the questions that Reloaded got us asking. Most of all, what the hell was the significance of being The One??

They could have made the ending so much better in terms of story twists etc, but the most disappointing thing for me was the fact that there were hundreds of Agent Smiths in the final showdown but Neo only fought one of them! I expected at least another courtyard scene, perhaps the same thing but in the air??

Oh well, it was ending, even if it wasn't the best ending. Overall though, a really good trilogy. I just hope that they dont cash in on it and make any more.

Hmm.... The Matrix

Well.... here goes...

In my opinion they have ed up The Matrix. We can all agree that the first one was perfect in every way but the thing is, I went to the cinema to see number 2... and to tell you the truth i was going there expecting to see something as perfect as the first one.

I think that half way through the movie, Morpheus had been raving on so much that when he said: "It happened because it happened and it couldn't have happened any other way" everybody was laughing.

BUT!!!! I haven't seen 3 yet, so, maybe number 3 will be perfect...

Is it?
