Thanks Occ. I actually got the gyst of the majority of what you wrote here from other spoiler sites. What I'm interested in, however, is this "mysterious" ending. What's so difficult about the last couple of minutes, or the last scene more specifically? Furthermore, does that "kid" who follows Neo around everywhere in Reloaded play a role in the ending (in accordance to one particular spoiler website)?

Tanx

The kid I think you are talking about is actually from the Animatrix, and is only in a few scenes in Reloaded. He plays a part in the Revolutions but it's pretty cheesey ("I haven't finished the training." "Neither did I....")

I liked the movie. Thought they explained things though very suttle in the explaination. It was definitely a movie that made you listen and think about what is going on. It has the action for those who wanted to see amazing fight scenes, but it had the story line quietly explained in the background.

The only thing that ticked me off, is the introduction of alot of characters without giving more info. For example, the last exile. They could of told more about her, or just plain cut her out. It distracted from the story about the Oracle & Smith. Then of course the Trainman & the Maroviengian (sp), they had such great roles in Revolutions. wow, amazed.

All in all, it was a great movie and the two movies (The Matrix & Reloaded/Revolutions) are masterpieces of story telling.

I came into it with alot of hype but died down after I realize that I had put Revolutions at such a high pedestal. The only thing that would of made Revolutions good for some people is if REAL sentinals were to fall through the ceiling of the theater and the walls actually collapsed.

No one still has addressed this cryptic BS from thematrix site:

For those wondering... black cats continue to crisscross our servers. Where? There, yes, right there...

A witches brew of hex is in the pot and being stirred. For those who have tamed 8 bit, and then 32 bit encryption here at the site, what might be next?

Ok, I'm going to do a lot of you a favour. DO NOT see revolutions. If you haven't seen reloaded, even better, but if you have it's still ok. Now ... go to this thread:

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=136207

And read up on some of those theories. Pick one ... any one of them is good. Now, go to bed and dream out how revolutions happens according to one of those theories. Then wake up and say, "WOW that was a great series!" I'm warning you ... you'll be far more intellectually stimulated doing this, otherwise, the third movie is like a virus that will corrupt and destroy all respect you had for the matrix concept.

No joke, it seems like the Wahoo brothers were smoking a few joints when thinking up the first movie ... you know, developing intellectual/far out/deep angles. Then for the second movie they started drinking like 10 beers ... the flow is not as good but the basic concept is golden and they're heading somewhere right? Then for the last movie they ate a bunch of pills, became a bunch of e-tarded candy ravers who cooked up a script where everybody lives happily ever after in a disney-esque world of human/machine harmony. I was waiting for the fecking unicorns and bunny rabbits to start jumping around everywhere and for a baby machine to start playing with a baby human.

The list of people who I wanted to die in the movie in no particular order:

Neo (actually the order of this one does count)
New Oracle (who blows chunks compared to old oracle)
The bruce lee wannabe who speaks engrish
Ashanti
That stupid fecking annoying eager beaver twat (you know who I'm talking about)
That annoying indian girl who's too naieve for her own ing good
The ultimate commander of zion who has 1 emotion the entire movie
The french guy who basically said the same thing from the second movie
Monica Belluci for not showing us her
Trinity cuz she's so old and cheesy (yea I know she did ... but I wanted her to die after the first 2 minutes she came on screen)

Actually I think everybody should die for having cheesy lines and bad acting. I think the best acting in the movie came from the sentinels, the drillers, and the hovercraft. Good supporting roles came from all the bullets. Out of all the characters I could empathize with them the most and REALLY believe in the characters they were trying to portray. Hmmmmm that's pretty much it for now ... other than all that the movie was alright!

so much quality in one post ;)

Reading your guys interpretations of Revolutions makes sense unless you put them into context of realoded and remind yourself of all the queasions raised in thearchitect's monologue (so Neo is an anomaly and a creation of the pracle program at the same time? rofl)

Oh well....I enjoyed the 4 minute LOTR3 trailer at the beginning of the movie more than the entire 2 hr crap film. And that comes from some1 who defended Reloaded again and again, always hoping that it was actually a build up for a great end.

I liked astroboy's perspective nevertheless. ;)

The best part of the movie is that it kept you guessing through out. Also realize that with a movie of this caliber you need to look deeper than face value. There is symbolism, and so much you can look into. I was very happy with the turn out. Yes it did leave some questions hanging, but if everything were to be answered... the movie would be 4-9 hours long. You take care of the main plot and then resolve it.

And besides... with a movie series that broke new grounds revolutionizing the whole industry... how can you expect anything to top the first one?? Nothing will ever be able to top it, but the third one was amazing. I will say that much.

i second that!
