Dani sorry to hear about your problem with the 'rents :(
My parents are the same exact way, mad old school, dont understand why I go out so much, always askin my to stay home with them now that im back home for break (and do absolutely nothing mind you)
My parents couldnt never understand who I really am, and I definetaly didn't turn out they way they wanted me to.
But who cares, isn't life about doing your own thing? and not being spoon fed ideologies and ethics?
don't let your parents keep you down and keep your head up!

i know how that feels when your parents are disappointed in you, even though you've done nothing wrong. my mom hates the fact that I'm bisexual, and it used to be that she would make me feel guilty for liking women. Luckily, it's gotten to a point where I can talk to her about it, but even so, she'll still have that tone of disappointment in her voice whenever I mention anything having to do with it. If I ever get a girlfriend, it's going to be difficult because I won't be able to talk about her with my Mom, and I talk to my Mom about everything...
so, I know it's not as bad as your situation, but my point is that I can relate.
I hope that you can have a breakthrough with your parents at some point. While the solution may not be running away, as Indy suggested, you could find some kind of ultimatum along the lines of going away/moving out/etc. and try to force them to listen to you. They are going to have to accept that you are an adult who can make her own decisions, and that you are happy with the life you've created for yourself, otherwise they're going to lose you completely.
