We talked last night. I'll just again that you DEFINITELY have to "do you." Put yourself first, cause you are all you can count on. BUT, on the flipside, you are one of the luckiest girls I know and you have to try to remember that your parents just love you and DO want the best for you. Even if they are acting like idiots, they mean well.
Yet it is still time for you to become independent and go off on your own. Your parents will freak out but they'll accept it, with time. My mom nearly killed me when I graduted from college and moved to Syracuse with some guy. (It was the stupidest thing I ever did) I swear I was sure my mom would never speak to me again. But when she realized I needed to make my own decisions and live my own life, she came around. That doesn't mean she agreed with my choices. My mom rarely approved of what I did. But she respected my need to be myself and that's where you need to get with YOUR parents. So get out there, start your life, do YOUR thing, and before you know it you will have earned their respect just by following through with your choices in life.

As our hero, Porky makes the long arduous trek up the cliffside, he is surprised to find the beautiful trance fairy, Lunasea, sitting at the edge. Upon further inspection he finds her looking sullen, lost and depressed. Porky sidles up next to her and whispers in her ear, "Be Strong." He puts his arms around her to comfort her with his friendship. "You are so beautiful because of your passion for life, you need to be strong so that you can help me do what we have to do." And with that, she smiled, and they hugged while looking out onto the soft auburn sunset listening to beautiful trance music together. |
