Valon would be a great signing and he could even elevate at Inter. He's still young and I hope he ends up in a better team than Lazio ;)

Who isn't linked with Internazionale these days? :haha:
Anyways, Inter played very well today and they deserved to win even though Lazio came back into the game after their 2-1 goal. Luis Figo scored the first goal and it was really nice, second goal by Recoba was nicely headed before the goalkeeper. Pandev scored for Lazio and the Nazi's started playing good after that goal.
Alvaro Recoba continued playing very well later on and scored the 3rd and last goal of the game. A nice through pass from Veron opened up for it and Recoba came 1-on-1 against the goalkeeper and scored 3-1.
Man of the match was clearly Recoba, and once again he proves he should be playing instead of Martins/Cruz. Mancino should play with him and Adriano upfront in the future, I just know that Adriano is going to be more important later on and that he's going to get back on track, He's a great player.
Notice that Inter was playing without Dejan Stankovic, and did that pretty well actually, that's another good thing for the upcoming Champions League 1/4 Finals against Villareal. |

I dont understand the Stankovic comment. If he is healthy he is sure to start with Figo on the wings against Villareal....but I guess your right but since the arrival of Cesar we have a good back up for him.
Adriano will come back to form I hope but as long as he can get it in big matches we will be fine in these types.
Recoba do I need to say this again. Start him.....these Martins fans I know dont realize what I think is happening. Since we brought him in so young he hasnt progressed with the basics of football. Its almost as if he forgot everything he runs like a chicken with no head:mad:

Stankovic was suspended for todays game, but like you said, Cesar is a good back up for Dejan. Cesar was pretty good today and I'm not taking anything away from him :)
Martins on the other hand should be starting on the bench, next match, and the rest of the season. I hope you can go through in the next round of the Coppa, should be interesting since I'm rooting for Inter there :) |
