personally I don't find a honest reason why bashing Martins when he has done a lot for inter in the past 2-3 years, obviously he's not at the top this season but many great players have these moments of lack..
Moratti discovered him very young, talented and didn't spent a buck for him, now he's much more valuated and this' the only reason Inter can get profits of him. |

..and he did score the last goal which won the game for Inter against Villareal last time at San Siro. So even though I'm not fond of him, I still don't think he sucks as much as I've already claimed in the posts before, I was just joking how he wouldn't make it in my hometeam, they suck badly :toothless
Good luck Martins & Inter in Spain tomorrow and knock out those yellow s. |

lol at the last two posts
Southern....agreed but still if we didnt bring him up so soon and let him develop more in the Primavera then we would have a better Martins. He has no technical skills I think. Brilliant pace and his speed is lightning but passing no shooting no heading hell no....There are a bunch of strikers I like to see him take his place for a resonable sum:
Lucarelli
Tavano
Pazzini
Bojinov
Di Vaio
Vucinic |

I was really supporting Inter in this one becuase I've never felt anything for Villareal, and Inters got two serbian players.
The first half was ty, I have to admit that the best chance was Villareals, the freekick that was blocked by Javier Zanetti. That's about everything that happened in the first half.
The second half started much more interesting and was more entertaining in many ways. Villareal still had the ball and they continued playing their own play. They didn't get anything out of it in the first half, but they did create some room for chances in the second half.
They could've scored after less than 5 minutes of the second half, and they continued playing very well for a shorter period. Inter got the overhand after a while and had some chances to score, but they didn't manage to get the ball against goal.
The 56th minute was a turnaround of the game in my oppinion, Figo couldn't handle Riquelme and had to stop him harsh, the referee gave the oppurtunity to Villareal to continue attacking and they finally shot the ball very close the goal, but wasn't on goal. Then the ref gave a freekick on the middle because of Figos action, Figo awarded with a yellow card too.
Riquelme passed the ball perfectly to a alone standing Ruben Arrubarena who could score the goal with his head. 1-0 to Villareal, and Juan Sebastian Veron is to blame for this goal, he isn't following Arrubarena all the way and Toldo gets ed because of that small header.
Villareal continued playing very well for a period and then they lost the play a little. In the end there was a couple of good chances for both teams, Forlan for Villareal and who ever shot that ball over the goal in the last minutes of the game. Mihajlovic had a dangerous freekick to, But it didn't result in any goals.
End of game, and ing Villareal goes through on away goals. |
