Sorry about that my mistake but go easy I am not dutch. Inter preseason retreat has started today. In camp already Veron, & Cordoba. Guess who is back! Nicola Ventola who was loaned out to Siena, I thought I would never see him again in any type of Inter shirt. Think if he stays it would be great as he has a tremendous upside. Kallon & Cruz need to go though. Helveg also has recieved an offer from Tottenham and Everton. Davids now looks 90% certain to sign for Inter(why did we sign Cambiasso then). Also Inter & AC Milan are in the Rooney sweepstakes! Why is it that Inter could possibly table a 100 mill bid for Rooney but not retain their players such as Crespo?

Fabio you like Fantasy Sports? I was thinking of making an Italian League for tranceaddicts.I usually play all my fantasy sports with Yahoo,if you know anything better let me know.

Sure Im up for it. Choutos from Greece signed with Inter :(. Never heard of him but apparently he is going to be a bargaining chip for Inter to get Kompany a young Beligum defender from Andrelecht. Also Burdisso sealed his move and Mancini was finally appointed manager!!!

FORZA INTER
drufrumvancity

Forza Nerazzurri!!!! This is our year! <- I say that every year though:haha:

This means that Emre is probably on his way out and they say Kily is going to England. 2 of my fav players leaving:(

Well I am very excited about the upcoming year. The Italian internationals are back from holiday and have joined the squad in retreat. The new kit was presented and the home&away strip look great and the 3rd shirt reminds me of when Inter won the UEFA Cup with Ronaldo wearing the Umbro shirt with same colours and design.

Although the other squads look good I think that it will be Inter & Roma at the end. That is if Roma can finalize the signings of Mexes, Perrotta, and Gilardino. Milan looks great but I finally think this is the year that their defenders will show their age and completly break down in the second half. Juve look strong but without improvments in the defense than they will finish 4th.

Inter spent about 8million euro and signed Davids, Veron, Cambiasso & Burdisso. If they live up to expectations than that is the best summer transfer season ever.

Please post your thoughts on the way the Serie A will pan out. List the top 4 clubs and some of the players to look out for this year.

1. Inter:crazy: (yes i know but I have to think positive)
2. Roma
3. Milan
4. Juventus

Some Players:
Perrotta (If he moves to a big club)
Van der Meyde (Time to rebound of a great Euro)
Crespo (Will return to form)
Oddo (Great Unknown Defender for Lazio)

So this thread died but want to keep it alive because there are some Inter fans on these boards. New manager Mancini today shocked everyone by announcing the striking duo for this season

ADRIANO & OBA GOAL!

Vieri is now coming off the bench. Either Euro 2004 was a sign that he has lost it or Mancini thinks Bobo & Adriano cant pair or Oba is ready for regular first team footy. Only time will tell. Cant wait for the 11th. Inter v. Basle in Champions League Qualifiers. You will see the new look Inter in action finally!

Vieri on the bench?wtf thats too wierd.
If Inter knew Vieri dosnt have it anymore why didnt they just let him go?
I think it'll be just temporary.

I know he has an injury so probably when he gets fully fit he will be back in the XI. Oba goal is only 18 or 19 and will get fatigued fast. Although excited at the fact Ventola is back and Zicu is showing signs of being quality. Cruz is probably on his way out by the next 2 weeks or in Jan. There is no room for him. Plus he is .

Full report after tomarrows game against Basle.

Oh and van der Meyde is probably on his way to Ajax if they can match 8mil euro for him. He wasnt selected for the trip to Switzerland.:( Very sad

Basel 1 - 1 Inter @ St. Jakobs Park - Basel, Switzerland

So we got an away goal but hit the post 3 times and had the ball cleared off the line twice. Thier goal was crap and own goal to be exact. Dominated the entire match and looks like we will go through.

Adriano, Toldo, Ze Maria and Stankovic all played great.
Veron, Cambiasso, Recoba(once again), and Favalli played like .

Mancini made me happy by noticing Recoba and Cambiassos bad play by subbing them for Ventola and Emre in the second half. They came on and impressed. Hopefully Emre will gain his first team back over Cambiasso who should be coming off the bench. Ventola is 4th striker in preference.

Adriano
Vieri
Martins
Ventola
Recoba
Cruz

Recoba and Cruz just need to leave. Cruz might go to Lazio in exchange for Cesar. No on wants Recoba since his wage demands are high. We pay him 36,000p p/w!

Toldo kept us in the match when we struggled. He mad some incredible saves. Cordoba picked up a knock late in the match but continued. Hopefully the back 4 will be remodled. J. Zanetti-Cordboa-Materazzi-Cannavaro sounds good if they are all fit. Favalli is 90 and can play for 50 min at most.

Overall a crucial away goal and great chance of qualifying. I dont know if there are any Juventus fans out there but they are in bad shape 2-2 aggregate going to 2nd leg in Sweden! :haha: :haha:
