I just thought they played better than inter overall.

I can say like this:

Milan started out very well and Inter were under pressure during the first 10 minutes of the game. Suddenly Inter got a freekick which Stankovic placed on Hernan Crespo's head, and Inter was in the lead after 17 minutes. Inter won the ball on the midfield later on, and Dacourt passed to Stankovic who shot the ball to the left side of Dida, Beautiful goal.

From that point and on, Milan looked in total shock and Inters counter attacks were very dangerous. In the end, Stankovic took the ball on the middle and drove it up while passing to Ibrahimovic who scored 3:0 for Inter.

Ancelotti had to change tactics, and on came Olivera, Milan started playing a lot better right of way. They scored that 1:3 goal before Materazzi got sent off for celebrating a goal, Stupidity by Steffano Farina.

That was when Milan started playing out Inter, and the last 20 minutes almost ended in a draw instead of a win for Inter. But overall, I would like to say that Inter played very smart, they were effective and Dejan Stankovic had a brilliant game with 1 goal and 2 assists.

Some cred to Mancini aswell for subbing on Figo, Figo placed a freekick on Materazzi's head, and Inter scored 4:1.

Let's compare Gattusso and Ambrosini to Dacourt and Vieiria:

Gattusso always does a great work on the pitch, but he was nowhere yesterday night when Inter made those counterattacks and scored on their chances. Ambrosini was horrid in my oppinion, I really think he shouldn't have started against Inter. Dacourt on the other hand had one assist and played great during the whole game together with Stankovic and Vieira. They had a great game together, even though Vieira was the weakest one of them.

So I don't really think Milan deserved to win this game, Sure, Inter were lucky in the end, But they did deserve this and they were supereffective, Something that always counts in football ;)

Sounds like sour grapes there RapidFire...go get some of Zizou's tissues

Not to mention that Milan really killed us when we were down a man...stupid red card or not any team is going to be better than the other when outnumbered on the pitch

More bad news: Ciro Barusso has broken his leg in a match for Rimini. He was Inter's main target for the winter. He is such a great player too similar to that of Muntari from Udinese. Hopefully we still get him in the summer he would be perfect!

Vieira is out for the Spartak match.

heh believe me I like inter. Stankovic and Vierra play there and Im a huge fan of both. not to mention AC took out Zvezda in the qualifiers for the champions league. I just thought that overall milan deserved AT LEAST a tie for their efforts. some of the chances they had in the second half were amazing. great goalkeeping from cesar though.

Milan deserved nothing they did all they could if the match went another 10-15 min maybe then they would've scored. Materazzi went out when in the 65th? That gives them 30 minutes since +5 to score 3 goals. Not to mention that it turns out Vieira was injured so it was 11 vs 9 players on the pitch...They had 3 upfront and still had their main core of defenders to stop counters. How much more of an advantage do you need?

Its a 90 min game they couldnt win in 90 mins because they wasted the first 50 doing nothing.

:haha:

Here is some transfer news: As I expected Inter are chasing Beckham. Now before fast and the other fags do a million :haha: they may want to read up on Beckham. For us to get him for cheap would do wonders for the club. Financially it would be a huge boost and would raise the club's profile worldwide. He would play a Figo role for us which has been great for aging Figo. Pretty good deal if he is cheap but I think he is going to America for the big pay day anyway.

Thats about it Inter - Spartak tomarrow. No Vieira or Cambiasso in the mid. Could see Ibrahim again.
