Shevchenko putting his head nicely against Materazzi's in the beginning certainly wont have improved the situation over there ...
If they suspend / fine Inter judging by TV footage they should also do something about that imo
Anyway, totally unacceptable behaviour over there but as you said fast, a nice show, something you dont c every day. Probably because most socios are aware of the harsh consequences. |

i dont think inter need to be banned from europe..i think that the security at Italian football stadiums needs to be sorted out. the first 5-10mins of serie A games is often unwatchable due to the smoke caused by flares, and tonight proves the problems they can cause. not only that but the behaviour of fans at italian football stadiums is pretty shocking..and i think sorting the security would go a good measure to sorting this as well. |
yes, they will be banned. In 1990 Ajax-"fans" threw an iron stick on the keeper and were banned for a year. Inter-"fans" hit the keeper, the referee and the linesman...
bye bye Inter
And Sheva should have a few matches also |

they probably will, as will show a clampdown of bad behaviour on and off the pitch. however, the sky sports reporter from italy, said afterward that the general feeling from all down the front of that stand was that it was a planned attack. it would have happened regardless of the headbutt happening.
also..martins shouldve started. impressed me more than adriano of the inter games ive seen recently. the guys a proper handful. |

surely keeping such items out of grounds would be more constructive than banning a team who can play some fine football from the competition? |

I just got back from the most insane day of my life!
First the plane to Italy was crazy with turbulence I swear we dropped 300 feet in 2 seconds at 1 moment.:nervous:
Then when we landed I got harrassed by Milan fans at customs/baggage. Finally got to the house and took a nap.
Went out to the San Siro crazy atmosphere out side of it, bigger and better than any other game I have attended.
The Match:
How bull was this, Sheva should have gotten a red for what he did. Markus Merk was the tiest ref I have ever saw. I was sitting in the Curva Nord section so I was in the heat of it all after Cambiasso's goal which was a goal!!!
When Merk showed the yellow to Chu Chu Cambiasso we all had enough, it felt to me and my 2 friends that everyone who supported Inter let out their aggression at that time of the card being shown. The aggression of failures in the past 10 years. It was crazy but not planned. This guy with one of those loudspeakers came on and shouted in Italian throw your flairs at that Milan and Merk. Flares went down bottles etc it was crazy.
When they left the pitch they stopped throwing it and it calmed but that was because Merk had gone. When he came back it began again.
It was pretty rediculous because the security was e. I mean they barely checked me when I got in and on the way out we just walked out and this was the curva nord section the section that started it all lol.
Also me and my friend got in a fight with 2 milanese fans. Think i got stabbed in the face because i have a 2 inch long gash on in right near my eye that hurts like .
Inter will most likely get a hefty UEFA home match ban or be kicked out of the competition. I feel sorry for Dida though he is a good player and shouldnt have gotten hit, Sheva should have. |

Latest News From Milan:
Inter may be banned from playing at home for the rest of the Serie A & Coppa Italia says the FIGC.
Also another reason that this happend was lack of police. I could only spot 2 police men when I think back at the match. |

News for AC Milan from Milan:
Dida has first degree burns from the flare. Such a shame, I will prey for him to be ok.(Inter fans I dont think had an intention to hurt him we had much respect for him during the match and I think it was due for him not getting out of there)
Shevchenko may be banned for 4 matches in the Champions League. |

all i'll say is that theres need to be more security at games, stop letting in people with all that flare crap, and fans need to chill out and enjoy a game regardless of whats going on without going to such extreme measures. This crap has happeed in alot other countries, its a shame, sad day for footbal, hopefully people will realize how stupid they are.I remember there was a game in Bolivia I think, that one of those flares hit a kid in the stands and his whole body started burning and his mom was next to him calling for help crying,he died on the spot.
shame on everybody.
that is all |
