| ugggg.....i had a feeling when i saw that there was another reply at this thread that this was it....i duno why Inter would get rid of him? it makes no freakin sense *sniff sniff* :( ....hes got till 2006 on his contract....we are in the Champions League....and are in a position to possibly win the league....what wonderful news to hear rite after i get off work :mad: |

Still hasnt happend yet, but with Fabio Cannavaro & Lamouchi & Ventola who were all called up for a friendly today in Florence but they stayed behind in Milan.
All of those players were linked with other clubs in the past days. |

| As soon as the deal is done I will contact a mod and see what I can do about it. When I created the name I thought he would be at Inter for a couple more years or at another club but not a rival like Juve.:whip: |

Okie dokie! Things looking better today in some parts.
Juve have announced they have signed Zlatan Ibrahimovich for around 18 million euro or something.
This is good since it might mean that they dont have enough money for Cannavaro now.
It isnt good because I rate Zlatan as one of the best strikers in the world. A partnership with Trezeguet or Del Piero could be deadly.
Also little scared about our partnerships:
Adriano & Vieri (lots of talk they cant play together have only been selected twice together)
Adriano & Martins (oba goal is young and still unproven)
Adriano & Recoba (give me a break Recoba plays good 1 out of 7 matches)
Cruz,Ventola (bench players good ones in that)
Compare those to these:
Juve: (Trezeguet & Zlatan, Treze & Del Piero, Trez & Miccoli, DP & Zlatan...etc)
Milan: (Crespo & Sheva, Crespo & Pippo, Pippo & Sheva & Jon Dahl Tommason)
Roma: (Cassano, Totti, Mido[signedtoday], Montella,)
Oh well I will keep ya posted if anything happens

Adriano and Vieri is the way to go no matter what ,as much as I like Martins, I like him coming off the bench.

Umm yeah thats no body Eddie.
Anyway deal was sent to the stock exchange and Inter have posted it on their site.
The deal is 10 million euro and Carini going to Inter. Sometimes I wished I supported other clubs. This is awful. How does Inter expect to compete with Milan and Juve. Morrati should be sued by all club supporters.
Good luck to Cannavaro I hope you break your leg and Juve gets relegated. |

| exactly why does Inter need Carini? :conf: .......I just dont understand why Inter would do this deal its un-freakin-believable.......you find out a rival has signed a world class striker and you say to yourself "How can we make them better.....well I no! lets sell our top defender to them an get a backup kepper in return!" |

I am looking at Inters roster especially the defenders. We got: Coco, Burdisso, Zanetti, Cordoba, Pasquale, Sorondo, Ze Maria, Mihajlovich, Materazzi, and Favalli
Mancini also has 4 keepers to choose from now with Carini. I hope this lad is good since I have never heard of him.

well first of all Id like to point out that colombia beat Uruguay 5-0 the last time they faced in qualifications....the good news Carini wasnt the goalie in that game haha.
I havnt really payed much attention to him lately but I remember he was the goalie for Uruguay for much of the 2002 qualifications and the world cup.I remember first seeing him in the 99 copa america when Uruguay reached the final but brazil made carini look bad they lost 3-0.
He's kinda short in stature,or at least it seems like it.

Apparently he is rated the best S. American keeper under 25 years old. So maybe thats a good thing, all thought him being short is troubling.
