Interesting game tonight, playing against Tampa Bay for sole possession of last place in AL East
Forget going to Mo, I think Gordon's gotta go
Also interesting that Mets are in both 2nd place and last place at the same time, in the NL East with 4 teams tied at 6-6
That will change after they play Phillies tonight.
If they can sweep this 2-game series, and Marlins do likewise against Nats, then they could play for 1st against either Marlins or Nats later this week. |

| If you realy think they will finish last then ur crazy. Ull see by the end of the year they will have the best record in baseball and win the division. Take it easy people theres over 175 games to go. |

While I don't think that the Yankees will finish last, 4th or 3rd, I see them finishing 2nd behind the Red Sox this year. |

Jaret Wright sucks. Watching him pitch right now is freaking brutal. I knew he was gonna suck too.

Who will be your 4th and 5th starters? Wright is not good. And neither is Kevin Brown. Personally, I'm not even that high on Pavano and Mussina. I think they would've been better off with Derek Lowe. |

I actually agree with you but hard for me to imagine them being worse than Jose Contreras or Javier Vasquez in the 2nd half of last year. I think they will just suck as bad. I think that'll be enough once the hitting kicks in. And it will in my opinion.
I think Pavano will be good after he settles. I think Mussina will be slightly (I mean slightly) above average. He never was that special to me and he is getting old. But he won't be that bad.
How about Chien Mang Wang or however you spell it. He looks promising. I do think many Yanks are overpriced ego guys who when things aren't going well, seem to not have the testinal fortitude to fight back (a la last year's playoffs). They obviously need more homegrown young talent but that won't happen as long as Georgie is there.
Tonight was the first HR that A Fraud hit that ever counted for something. He gets more meaningless hits more than anybody I've ever seen. Boom, he just hit another one.... yeah it's 15-8. Good work A Rod!!
I think the Yankees will make a couple of moves too sometime. |
