can i make a petition for the chicago bears to start rex grossman when he is 100% ??
according to reports, he is healthy now.
chicago will be very tough to beat if they get home field advantage, so carolina and seattle better not slip up the rest of the way, especially when chicago's defense is scoring the points for their offense . hahahahah .. who says that you need a quality offense to put up points to reach the super bowl ? in fact, i wouldn't mind a chicago bears - indianapolis colts super bowl . tillman/vasher vs harrison/wayne is a must see, and i want to see urlachler eat edge james alive ( sorry UofM fans ... ) . |

love the comments ...
in love of mel, i will do this , .,,,, <3
based on his thoughts, clearly the AFC has better quality receivers currently, but the future could be towards the AFC, with the development with Shockey as best tight end, and dangerous duo of boldin and fitzgerald.
and damn kennison. well he is a former LSU grad, and he is good, but i cant place him in the upper echilion with other wideouts. i should have listed him, but i have more hopes of devery henderson (saints) as a better wideout than kennison, although i feel for kennison for going through 4 years with crappy quarterbacks in LSU, and was there with harvey williams (ex-chief .. go figure) . |

Ask all the pro scouts what TE they say is the best and 9.9/10 will say Antonio Gates!!! Stop with the U favoritism! :p
Chad Johnson is the best and makes me laugh the most. I'd take Holt over Randy Moss and Terrell Owens anyday. Moss is poo this year and TO is a bastid creating horrible chemistry.
Arizona would rock on offense but Kurt Warner won't last too much longer and J.J. Arrington is lame. Wow.. just think about Reggie Bush on that team. Scary scary scary!!
Joey Galloway is having a pretty big year actually even though he really has never impressed me.
B Lloyd has got amazing hands! Braylon will be a star in a couple years. L Fitzgerald is in top 5.
Hey, I got Steve Smith, Torry Holt, Larry Fitzgerald, Antonio Gates on my keeper league. I can only keep three. Which ones? Tough one for me... |

i go with the players that have something to "actually shoot for" , which is the playoffs.
steve smith and antonio gates no contest, but i have been disappointed with steve smith's production as of late, and i am scared that john fox is going more run than pass as of late.
so a third is probably larry fitzgerald, since holt has a inexperienced quarterback with him. |

whoops ... i thought he was talking about the rest of this year ... :conf: :o :( ...
well ... then i would say torry holt, antonio gates, and larry fitzgerald.
i like steve smith, but i think if carolina doesnt find a second receiver or hoping some tight end is good enough to be a second target, defenses will smart up next year, and know how to defend steve smith . the nfl isn't a child's play, where you can do the same thing over and over every year .. hahahahah ...
but i am kinda iffy on antonio gates, and san diego's decision next year whether they are going with brees or rivers ? i say brees, but what does management say ? |

Super Bowl MVP...
sorry, I couldn't ignore the "meh..."
yeah, he may not be a stud in the regular season, but the guy is my size for christ sake, and I'm 5' 8"... I know how it is being a short Wide-out, he gets double points for that... any small receiver gets my respect...! |

I think Fitzgerald and Holt are for sure. So it's between Steve Smith and Antonio Gates. Already having two great WR's sways me more into the TE but of course Steve Smith is ranked as the best WR this year. BUT!... he has been tailing off lately as teams started to figure out that he was the only man in town. Will he be one of the top 5 WR's next year? I don't know... it's iffy. But I'm sure Gates will be the #1 TE scoring wise.
Obviously I will have to load up on RB's in the first few rounds. I have guys like Domanick Davis, Corey Dillon, Ronnie Brown, Stephen Davis (lost job and never got yards anyway), etc. who I just don't feel are keeper worthy or even that great RB's (when compared to my others). I have McNabb rotting on my bench now but I don't think I want to keep him.
As for San Diego, they'll keep Brees no question. That's what I've heard. They'll look to trade Rivers. Maybe the Jets? |
