yes eli did look like poo.

then again, we are talking about the carolina panthers defense here.

the carolina panthers are like us when we ger out of bed. when we get out of bed, we don't know what mood we are in . we can sleep 12 hours , and wake up in a grouchy mood, having a bad day. then again, we can sleep 2 hours, and wake up energetic and ready to go. we can never judge the carolina panthers .

i still don't understand how eli couldn't throw the ball more to burress . seriously, he is the best wideout on the team, so eli should have thrown at least some screens or crosses to get him some touches .

Wow Carson Palmer and Chris henry both knocked out during the first posession and steeler dbs taunting T.J. Houshmandzadeh.Gonna be a rough game...and looks like Rudi and chris Perry will be getting tons of carries

this is probably one of the few times when i will shift my vote slowly towards the other team when the other team's starting qb goes down .. i like jon kitna, and what he did for the bungals 2 years ago .. but still i believe the steelers will prevail , because it seems cincy has no answer for the steelers' big punches, on the air and ground .

on the side note, vince young has declared his elgibility .. with both leinert (sorry..) and young in the draft, i feel marcus vick's status in the draft going deeper than he expected .

Marcus' decision to enter the draft had nothing to do with whether Young declared or not, in fact he probably assumed Young would be in the draft anyway. He should be a second day draft pick at best. Young should get picked up at #3 by the Titans.

I disagree about Young. I don't think he's as valuable of a QB as everyone thinks. In that bowl game he played a very piss pore USC defense, and he's not that fast at all. He definitely isn't fast enough to run the ball in the NFL. Although he probably will be taken early in the draft, I don't think it'll be as one of the top three picks. But we'll see. :thepirate

I agree about Vick going second round, haha and his decision to enter the draft was based on the fact that he got kicked off the VA Tech team and nothing else.

i will make the bold prediction guys and gals ...

the Pittsburgh Steelers will take Marcus Vick in the 4th round of the draft this April ... :wtf: ..

hey .. they drafted Kordell Stewart and Antwan Randel El .. why not Marcus Vick for the hell of it .. he would definately fit into the steeler's system, which has really been nothing but a headscratcher for me ..

who caught that flea flicker touchdown pass from b roth to wilson in the 3rd ? i saw that play coming from a mile away when randel el went in motion to stand next to b roth .. i see flashes of the slash in randel el .. only difference is that randal el is a better receiver than the slash .. :wtf: .. it wouldn't hurt to put vick as a wideout / running back / return man for the steelers .. hehe ..

ok guys and gals .. next week, these conf games are probably the best it can get for many years to come ..

colts - steelers
pats - broncos
panthers - bears
hawks - skins ...

let's get it on !

The latest mock drafts have Young going 3rd to the Titans to get his upcoming lessons from Mcnair. I think he's got pretty good scrambling ability and he's poised and makes good reads. He just shot puts his throws... which would really scare me taking him that high.

If Maurice Clarett can go in the 3rd round (muahahahaha), then Vick can surely get drafted pretty high as well. I've heard 4th round but who knows....

it would be a dream come true if the texans pick reggie bush, saints pick vince young, and the titans pick matt leinert. the #1 pick is already booked, with the texans announcing they will pick bush . how weird is that to announce that in january , and the draft is in april ?

the saints pick vince young, because well ... they're the saints, and they always pick the opposite of what everyone says damnnit .. but really, i would like to see vince in a saints uni, because he can blend well with deuce and horn .

for the titans, it's a dream for norm chow (off coord) to have matt leinert sitting right there to get picked . if leinert goes to the titans , forget a rookie learning curve learning a new offense, because norm came from usc .

just my opinion .

as for marcus vick, i can't make anymore comments or comparisons furthur than what i have said . he hasn't started many games, and doesn't really have a full season of games under his belt. and coincidentally, all vtech qbs have crapped out in the nfl . i can't think of one v tech qb, under beamer's system, that has been successful in the nfl ( outside of vick of course ... ) ... we can say the same about nebraska and oklahoma qbs and their "option play" playbooks, but that's a different story .

I pray Vince Young lands on the Saints...

He's the next Quincy Carter... terrible arm... and NFL defenses are not going to let him run wild like he did in College... Saints franchise is a disaster for a few years anyhow... I'm praying they take Vince "the bust" Young and save some other team the trouble...

Matt Leinart on the Titans!!!!!! Makes the Titans a playoff team in 2006.... PERIOD!

hey ! no playa hating the saints and our peanut size payroll ... :wtf: .. yeah .. we are deft going to suck for the next couple of years .. look at the saints as the 49ers of the late 90s , as their payroll was majorly hit , because of the mid 90s boom .
