AFC
Tom Brady - Scary that they'll still make the playoffs this year
Chad Pennington - Decent, but too soon to say
Gus Ferrote- sucks.
A.J. Felly - Liked him in Philly, could still be good
Sage Rosenfels - released
J.P. Losman - Too young to say
Kelly Holcombe - average passer, decent decision making skills

Carson Palmer - proved me wrong
Jon Kitna - Can't believe this guy panned out ok
Kyle Boller - keep him for 2 or 3 more
Anthony Wright - See you on the practice squad
Kordell Stewart - Doesnt play for Pittsburg ;) Still can do damage if he doesn't it up
Ben Roethlisberger - How well is he going to recover from his injuries?
Tommy Maddox - Serviceable backup who knows the Steeler system
Charlie Batch - Could take Tommy Maddox's job next year
Jeff Garcia - Doesn't play in Cleveland ;) Poor passer.
C Frye - Lots of potential, but will probably be a bust
Trent Dilfer - Can you believe this guy won a super bowl?

Peyton Manning - The MVP chants are getting louder
Hunter Smith - brings a PSP to play at the game
Byron Leftwich - To bad he got hurt...was having a great year
David Garrard - Barely beat the browns....Let's just make the playoffs.
David Carr - Is thinking Fresno State's 2001 line is better than the Texan's
Steve McNair - Rapidly fading...the kind of guy you wish had won a super bowl
Billy Volek - The titans are in trouble

Jake Plummer - Plays on a team with one of the best NFL O-Lines
Kerry Collins - Why do the Raiders love fading quarterbacks?
Marques Tuiasosopo - I hvae no idea who this is
Drew Brees - Under rated
Philip Rivers - Wishes he would've went to the giants
Trent Green - good starter, but old

=======================================================

NFC

Mark Brunell - Can't believe he can still make plays. Will be a good tutor for Ramsey
Pat Ramsey - Should develop nicely, just as hes becoming a free agent.
Drew Bledsoe - see: Steve Mcnair
Drew Henson - see: Chris Weinke
Eli Manning - Suprises me every week, but will never be as good as big brother
Tim Hasselback - My third string backup on my Madden 06 franchise
Donovan McNabb - I can't believe Philly would, for a moment, consider cutting this guy.
Mike McMahon - Smart runner, bad passer
Koy Detmer - Played well in relief for Mcnabb in 2002. Someone should switch his calendar

Aaron Brooks - I like this guy even if no one else does. Teach him to harness his run
Todd Bouman - Don't rightly know.
Chris Simms - Id rather have Major Applewhite
Brian Griese - was suprising me before he got hurt
Tim Rattay - This is the best free agency could do?
Jake Delhomme - Not sure how, but keeps leading the panthers to victory
Michael Vick - Is one big play receiver away from an NFL title
Matt Schuab - Will play slightly more than Hunter Smith

Joey Harrington - Could still be good, but stop hanging your receivers over the middle
Jeff Garcia - Sucks.
Brad Johnson - getting old, but he's still playing rather well
Daunte Culpepper - Could be in winter trade talks
Brett Favre - The Packers should've been better, but they're not winning a super bowl any time soon
Aaron Rodgers - An interesting choice as heir apparent to Bret Favre. Stay tuned.
Rex Grossman - Never liked this Florida alum
Kyle Orton - Is putting up enough points to win every week (unless the defense does all the work)

Matt Hasselback - Good QB, but lucky to have Alexander on his team
Mark Bulger - May still be good
Jamie Martin - I heard he's going to get his master's at Yale
Ryan Fitzpatrick - facing quite the task at resurrecting the GSOT
Kurt Warner - 14:57...14:58...14:59
Josh McCown - I hope this guy gets good so I can say Josh McCOWNED
Alex Smith - overrated as the #1 qb in the draft, but will probably have a decent career
Ken Dorsey - Bryant Mckinnie can't save you now
Cody Pickett - I havent seen him play
LeopoldStotch

let's get it on.... this is interesting, because clearly the NFC has better running backs (barber, alexander, deuce, jackson) vs (edge, tomlinson, dillon)
Member of X
AFC
Tom Brady - 2nd best QB, only reason why Pats are decent this year
Chad Pennington - Has a weaker arm than Bernie Williams
A.J. Feeley - Went to school with this guy, never studied and was an

Carson Palmer - 3rd best QB, rising superstar
Kyle Boller - he's had enough chances, time to abandon ship
Kordell Stewart - Shares my last name that's the only good thing
Ben Roethlisberger - Just wins and is starting to take more chances downfield and expand his game. Another really good young talent.
Tommy Maddox - NO, not serviceable. He freaking sucks balls. Bill Simmons on ESPN wrote about how much he sucks.
Charlie Batch - Should be Charlie Snatch cuz he usually plays like a snatch
Jeff Garcia - Accoring to TO likes men. His voice doesn't help him...
Trent Dilfer-don't make a mistake, don't make a mistake....

Peyton Manning - MVP and best QB in league. I love his audibles and his magic. Can't stop watching this offense.
Hunter Smith - Wasn't he the Notre Dame punter? I think so.. doesn't that answer the question?
Byron Leftwich - One tough mofo and pretty good QB
David Carr - O Line sucks but he hasn't shown me much. Move on... might be decent with a more solid supporting cast.
Steve McNair - Still pretty good and belongs on better team. Heart of a warrior and 2nd toughest QB in league next to Favre.
Billy Volek - Had a great run as backup last year.

Jake Plummer - Shocking the hell out of me. Where did all his INT's go?
Kerry Collins - Getting benched this week probably. lol He needs to be drunk to be good again.
Marquis Tuiasosopo - Washington grad while I was going to school. Scrambler but 4 INT's and 0 TD's in preseason. Shouldn't get excited.
Drew Brees - I disagree, I thin he's not that great.
Philip Rivers - Will be traded to somebody like Jets
Trent Green - Fantasy bust this year but slowly playing better. Gets a lot of yards usually but not too many TD's. I love this guy for breaking his leg paving way for Kurt Warner's miraculous entrace in stardom and leading Rams to Super Bowl.

=======================================================

NFC

Mark Brunell - Alonzo Mourning disease... didn't think he had much left in tank but is a big surprise.
Drew Bledsoe - good fit for Cowboys and Parcells knows how to manage him
Drew Henson - Former Yankees prospect and he sucks in baseball as much as he sucks in football. Piece of crap basically. Arrogant as hell too.
Eli Manning - Suprised me as well being this good so fast. Still has his struggles and not a high completion %. great 4th Qtr guy so far.
Donovan McNabb - Seems like his teammates hate the guy but I think Eagles fans give this guy too much flak. Still one of the best if given decent weapons. Remember TO was out last year and still got them to Super Bowl.
Mike McMahon - Wow he sucked on Monday night.
Koy Detmer - Better of the Detmer's but that's like saying Tito Jackson was better than Jermaine Jackson.

Aaron Brooks - Makes stupid decisions in my opinion. Turnover machine.
Chris Simms - Couldn't hold his dad's jock
Tim Rattay - Bleh
Jake Delhomme - very underrated, near the top in the league.
Michael Vick - kind of passing better but I'm not that big of a fan. Certain defenses kill him.

Joey Harrington - Again, went to school with this guy. He's a freaking punk. Sorry but my opinion he's the worst QB in the league. Trust me, he'll never look in the mirror either.
Brad Johnson - Playing a lot better than Daunte
Daunte Culpepper - one of biggest fantasy busts. Can't do without Moss.
Brett Favre- A warrior but dude gunslings too much now. He's a bad QB for a bad team. He's a good QB for a good team. That playing streak is incredible though if you think about it. I thank him for getting Rams to Super Bowl by throwing 5 INT's in playoff game.
Aaron Rodgers - Jeff Tedford prospect like Joey Harrington. Don't hold your breath on his chances.
Rex Grossman - Bleh
Kyle Orton - Defense dominates, he kind of sucks

Matt Hasselback - I can't like a bald QB... I just can't
Mark Bulger - He's ok but forces the ball too much but Martz always passed too much and teams just pinned back their ears with a pass rush and loading DB's. If they ran ball effectively and they had better O line, he'd be much better. Still... I'm not goo goo ga ga over him.
Jamie Martin -=Uhh..... third stringer at best. Not a fan.
Ryan Fitzpatrick - Can run and is very smart, dad a rocket scientist. We'll see but needs better O Line or he's gonna die soon.
Kurt Warner - Thank you for Super Bowl but has played well lately. I thought he was done done done but showing a little. But his WR weapons are amazing so... tough to tell. Time is creeping up on him.
Josh McCown -Some potential
Alex Smith - not worth #1 pick... just isn't.
Cody Pickett - 1/13 in one game passing. ....... don't need to say anymore than that.

AFC

Corey Dillon : deft HOF , now he has his one Super Bowl ring. wouldn't be surprised if he announces retirement soon, maybe after this year.
Patrick Pass : a hard runner. possible heir to dillon ?
Kevin Faulk : a great receiver for a running back. LSU alum. go tigers!
Ronnie Brown : has a bright future ahead of him. should learn from his role model rasta ganja-man ricky on the styles of hard running.
Ricky Williams : med-man to DUI man to drunk man to suicidal man to the quitter to the monk to mr forgiveness . this guy has many personalities.
Travis Minor : who ? FSU alum got the shaft when miami decided to draft brown.
Willis McGahee : bright future ahead of him. i want to know who is doctor is, because he had a horrible knee injury, and now he's carrying the bills on his back ? those teams that passed on him, because they thought he could never play football again sure are kicking themselves.
"Shaud" Williams : the speedster. hopefully he can get some more action next year. has some talent.
Curtis Martin : so sad to see his career wrapping up with a sorrowful team like the jets. if there was anyone in the league right now that is close to breaking numbers, i would want curtis to do it . this guy did it with class and style. and he is from THE ohio state university.
Cedric Houston : who ? we're never going to see him.
Derrick Blaylock : so the chiefs gave him the shaft to pad the diapers on larry johnson. too bad he got hurt. was supposed to be lamont jordan's replacement.
Jerald Sowell : great fullback.

Rudi Johnson : a hard nosed guy. he really put the move on polamalu last sunday.
Lorenzo Neal : great fullback. still mad the saints let him go.
Chris Perry : has a bright future ahead of him. if the bengals cannot use him furthur than a third down back, then he needs to look elsewhere, because he needs to use all of his talents.
Duce Staley : really not the same since he left philly.
Willie Parker : in the doghouse right now. two fumbles against cincy really did cost him his starting job.
Jerome Bettis: the wheels on the bus are STILL going round and round ...
Jamal Lewis : *shakes head* what a waste of talent . he's got all this talent , and he's just being a jackass right now . he's nothing but an underachiever, which explains where he came from (Tennessee) ... :wtf:
B.J. Sams : great kick returner. not utlized in the offense.
Chester Taylor : we could see how much this guy is made of next year. i wouldnt be surprised if he hits 1000 yards next year.
Reuben Droughns: for a ho hum year the browns are having, he is having another solid year for the browns.
Lee Suggs: VTTech alum just lost his job. what is he going to do next ? bad year for those Hokies fans and alums .

Dominick Rhodes : he has talent. would be a great asset with another team.
Edge James: a great comeback story. who is his doctor ? i want to know, because edge is really right now, back to his normal form before his injury.
Greg Jones: good fill in for taylor. not as explosive, but gets the job done.
Fred Taylor: i still remember those days when it was the smith-mccardell-taylor show. those days have gone, and taylor can't stay healthy for a full 16. if he did, he probably would win a rushing title no doubt. if you don't touch him 5 yards in, he's going the distance.
Chris Brown: talented, but not showing, because of the line.
Travis Henry: whatever happened to those good ol' days a couple of years ago in buffalo ?
Dominick Davis: good running back. bad line. he's trying hard with a team that has nothing to shoot for.
Jonathan Wells: read above.

Ron Dayne: he should be giving mike shannahan an island for shannahan's birthday for reboosting his nfl career life.
Tatem Bell: what an explosive runner he is. when he has an opening, he just zips right through.
Mike Anderson: shows how much the military really helped this guy. probably the hardest working back in the league right now.
Ladanian Tomlinson: just sick.
Michael Turner: probably asking marty "when am i ever going to get a turn ?"
Darren Sproles: good returner. not utilized in the offense.
Priest Holmes: sadly to hear this could be his LAST year, because of spinal injuries.
Larry Johnson: should we order those Huggies XXL, because you are just blowing it up baby .
Tony Richardson: who ? i swear he was with Todd McNair, Christian Okoye and Harvey Williamd back in the day.
Lamont Jordan: quietly having a solid season on a bad team.
Zach Crockett: he's not afraid to stick his neck inside a lion's mouth. how come every time he plays, he has to have blood somewhere ?

=============================================================

NFC
Tiki Barber: prob top 3 back of the 2000 decade (2000-2005)
Brandon Jacobs: the next jerome bettis. all he does is score touchdowns.
Chad Morton: why did the saints let him go ? a great return man, and really knows his way through defenses.
Julius Jones: solid.
Marion Barber: uhhhh....
Tyson Thompson: uhhhhh....
Clinton Portis: being good guy being wasted right now on a mediocre team.
Trung Candidate: should have stayed with the rams.
Ladell Betts: see above.
Ron Cartwright: mediocre.
Brian Westbrook: i am sad to see him not utilized in reid's offensive schemes. he could clearly be the next marshall faulk, if he gets the ball more. he has some sick moves.
Lamar Gordon: should have stayed with the rams.

Cedric Benson: bright future. wrong team.
Adrian Peterson: isn't he from oklahoma ?
Thomas Jones: pissed the bears were even thinking about benson.
Michael Bennett: decent player. wrong team.
Mewelde Moore: my opinion the most versatile of the 3 viking running backs.
Moe Williams: old guy. gets the job done.
Ahmen Green: can someone give him some velcro for his gloves for christman ? it's sad to see him fumble everytime.
Samkon Gado: jobless after this year.
Najeh Davenport: miami alum. great player. wrong team. clearly a 1000 yard back with another team.
Kevin Jones: another vtech guy. brighter future instead of suggs.
Shawn Bryson: there for backup duty
Artose Pinner: came to play last week, and still lost

Stephen Davis: the wheels on this bus is starting to get flat, and slow.
Deshaun Foster: at least this UCLA alum is having success.
Brad Hoover: dont forget this guy. he knows how to throw blocks.
Mike Alstott: hard runner. forgotten guy during their run against the rams in the NFC Championship.
Cadillac Williams: bright future.
Michael Pittman: better off with another team.
Warrick Dunn: look now, but he's getting into upper 5 running back echilion right now. really racking up the numbers currently, and his yards per attempt average is good.
T.J. Duckett: too bad dunn is there to steal his carries.
Antwoine Smith: good backup. his days are wrapping up after some good years with the bills and pats.
Deuce McCallister: top 5 back. needs a good quarterback to complement him. leinert for 2006 ?
Aaron Stecker: great returner. good receiver as a running back.

Shaun Alexander: my pick as MVP of the NFL. come on ... he has 22 touchdowns right now ... 22 !!! and to think seattle fans were going for holgrem's head when he decided to let ahman green go , and keep alexander back in the day.
Mercury Morris: no one knows about this guy. i know that when this guy gets an opportunity, he runs hard like a bull.
Mack Strong: good fb.
Stephen Jackson: a great successor to marshall faulk.
Arlen Harris: who ?
Marshall Faulk: time to start hang up those cleats oh buddy boy ... too bad you left the colts a couple of years too late, because you could have 2 rings right now, instead of 1.
J.J. Arrington: needs a new OL . i think he has talent.
Marcell Shipp: see above.
James Jackson: miami alum making a bad name for himself.
Frank Gore: see above.
Kevan Barlow: i know this guy has talent. remember that when t.o. was still with san fran, he racked up 1700 total yards. 1700 ?!?!?! clearly he needs to get back to old form .. when he does, watch san francisco's stock rise.

my two cents ......

AFC :
Chris Chambers : still has a good number of years ahead of him. i dont think he is passed his prime yet.
Randy McMichael: went from underrated to overrated in 2 years . what happened ?
Laverneus Coles: FSU alum. i can hate him, but hes aight.
Deion Branch: when it comes to crunch time, he's money.
Eric Moulds: past his prime. was there during the good days with peerless price.
Lee Evans: has a good future ahead of him.
[josh reed]: just throw him the damn ball .. he has talent damnnit .. he didn't carry the lsu passing attack for nothing u know ? .. hahhaa

Chad Johnson : new mouth of the NFL. move over t.o.
T.J. Houshmendazah (sp?? i get 100 points if i spelled it correctly) : [Houshmendaezeh] ??? we better start learning his name, because he is starting to make a name for himself.
Hines Ward: always a happy camper. i wonder what his expression will be when the steelers miss the playoffs ?
Mark Clayton: wasn't he from the dolphins ? supposed to help the ravens after some good years with oklahoma.
Derrick Mason: underrated.
Todd Heap: not used efficiently with a bad qb.
Braylon Edwards: will blow up next year when chris frye gets full 100%.
Antonio Bryant: will have good numbers as edwards's complement, not vice versa.
Kellen Winslow III: will help edwards and bryant A LOT. i think he can do something.

Marvin Harrison: move over jerry. here comes marvin staring down at your records at the speed of a locamotive.
Reggie Wayne: da U . i kept telling everyone he had talent way before he hurt himself his rookie year.
Jimmy Smith: time to hang up those cleats, and let wilford and jones take the spot.
Drew Bennett: go whitey.
Erron Kinney: 1 of the classic 2 TE combo.
Ben Troupe: 2 of the classic 2 TE combo. i can say that if the titans have a healthy qb, these 2 can combine for at least 170 catches in one year.
Roydell Williams: speedster ready to break out, and have the titans forget mason.
Andre Johnson: ready to blow it up next year. this year was a bad year.

Rod Smith: what a career this guy has had . if it wasn't for elway, he would be somewhere else right now.
Ashlie Lelie: speedster. that's about it. i havent seen him run one clean route to the middle of the field.
Kennan McCardell: what a career he has had.
Antonio Gates: #1 te ...... for now.
Dante Hall: whatever happened to his hype ? seems like in the offseason, the chiefs were actually thinking of using hall as a primary wr, but things just didn't pan out.
Tony Gonzalez : #2 te ....... for now .
Randy Moss: someone motivate him please!! give him a record contract or something!
Jerry Porter: still waiting for him to blowup .....
Ronald Curry: will come out in a bang next year ...

NFC:
[Peerless Price]: boy oh boy ... should have stayed in buffalo ...
Plaxico Burress: getting the job done, and the reason why the giants are gelling ..
Amani Tommoer: thanking god it's burress on the other side, instead of ike hilliard.
Jeremy Shockey: clearly the #3 te ..... for now .
Terry Glenn: where has he been between 96 and 2005 ?
Keyshawn Johnson: still waiting for him to trick parcells to make a recist slur against johnson, and then johnson writes a book about it .
David Witten;: can be a good te with the right tools .
Santana Moss: da U. nuff said.
Terrell Owens: *shakes head* .. let the sweepstakes begin where he's going to end up next...
L.J. Smith: next year, he will break out to be a great TE option for mcnabb .
Chad Lewis: he looks ready to hang it up .

Michael Clayton: no relation to mark .. LSU alum .. better year next year .
Joey Galloway: where has he been between 96 and 2005 ?
Michael Jenkins: next ...
Alge Crumpler: *see David Witten*
Brian Finneran: go whitey.
Joe Horn: feel sorry for him that he has aaron brooks throwing to him
Donte Stallworth: he's going to break out as one of the best 2nd wrs in the game in 2007, depending on how the saints handle brooks ..
Boo Williams: used for halloween to scare the opponents ..
Steve Smith: sick.
Rod Gardner: whatever happened to those years in washington ?

Charlie Rogers: it's not mr. rodgers neighborhood anymore .
Roy Williams: the safety ?
Mike Williams: not maurice williams (milwaukee), but he can make a name for himself ...
Marcus Pollard: shoulda stayed in indy .
Mushin Muhammad: still imo top5 wr in the league .
Koren Robinson: reviving a soso career that started in seattle
Travis Taylor: went downhill after the ravens won the super bowl ..
Marcus Robinson: koo-koo=ka=choo ...
Javon Walker: too bad he hurt himself for the rest of the year ..
Donald Driver: not the primary driver right now, as the passing game is taking a hit ..
Bubba Franks: ready to retire .. he was there with mark chumera ..

Anaquin Boldin : 007 dangerous . sean connery dangerous.
Larry Fitzgerald: 007 dangerous. roger moore dangerous.
Bryant Johnson: 007 dangerous. pierce bronson dangerous,
Bobby Engram: is he supposed to help the seattle passing game ? was good in chicago ...
Joe Jurevicius: go whitey
Darrell Jackson: please buy velcro for the hands.
Torry Holt: top 5 echilon right now
Issac Bruce: ready to hang it up for an old schooler ... if he was there with "henry ellard" , it's time to start thinking retirement ...
Kevin Curtis: what ? he's white and a fast runner ??? his daddy must be black ...
Brandon Lloyd: can turn out great ...... depending on the quarterback ...
Arnez Battle: he's ready to do battle with an arnez in his hand ...
Eric Johnson: had a breakout year the other year .. now he's just bumps and bruises away from retirement ...
bangoSkank
I was going to do receivers, but I dont have the patience to do 2-4 per team. I was gonna do RB but meh.

One sad thing for me is watching Priest Holmes' plunge into mediocrity. Remember 2 or 3 years ago when he was shredding defenses and scoring touchdowns like a machine? Now hes missed the end of the last 2 seasons with injuries and may be done for his career. This should serve as a young lesson to players that the ride may be great, but it can end on any play. Don't blow your money; save it for the future.

Here's a question,

Who was THE better RB?

Terrell Davis or Priest Holmes

TD was a Super Bowl Champ and MVP... Priest got some records tho... i dunno, I'd say LT beats them both!

I would agree,Davis's accomplishments i think are lessened by the fact that Shanahan has been able to put any running back in and get 1,000 yards.Priest is a great player but again ..great line and a friendly system.LT has a bad line, garbage offense

here's someone we should be talking about that is about to retire soon, maybe this year ...

stephen davis .

he has had his up and down years, but really carried the redskins during the mid 90s when their offense was garbage , with none other than gus ferrotte .. go figure ..

hes probably not going to get a HOF nomination . however if he was with another team other than the redskins back then, he could have posted better numbers.

My fondest memory of Stephen Davis was Michael Westbrook blowing up his grill on the sideline and breaking his jaw
