I never used the injuries as a crutch... yeah losing RODNEY was HUGE... but I never cared about the injuries, its Pats football.. they get it done...
Yeah the Colts and Bengals may eat up the Pats secondary, but all it takes is ONE game for the Pats backs to shut them down... so... basically: I CAN'T WAIT for the playoffs...lol! |

i'm afraid that if the pats meet the colts @ indy, indy will lose anyways, because it now looks like the dillon-faulk combination is working, which is going to exploit the colts weak run defense . and the chargers game also showed that if you contain edge somewhat, and have peyton throw more than he should, then eventually he will make mistakes . |

oh yeah ..
on to the bears ..
i hope lovie smith smarts up, and decides to start rex grossman for the rest of the year and into the playoffs . he was the original starter in the beginning of the season before he got hurt, and he should be the starter now . kyle orton has done nothing but stink up the offense. sorry.
but how about this scenario ? if the bengals, bears, and colts make it to their respective conference championships, that would make 3 black head coaches making it to the big dance .. i would mention seattle, but i don't think holgrem is a brotha', although they do have ray rhodes .. hahahha ...
eat that naacp .. i remember during the offseason, certain naacp members were pointing the finger at the nfl teams for not hiring enough "minority" head coaches ... well here are 3 pretty competant black head coaches who i think are great defensive masterminds . |

true... give ROMEO some time in Cleveland... he's a genius as well...
If the BEars get some solid play from a capable QB... I say, lookout, Thomas Jones is a horse... they got a real shot at going far in the playoffs |

| I like what romeo has done with the Browns..looks like Frye is going to be a good qb for them.I think they need to keep Droughns and get a few active ,roaming linebackers and some larger interior def. lineman |

speaking of the browns ... i really like their gutsy performances the past couple of weeks ... shows that they can perform during november and december, where it matters the most at crunch time ..
romeo can make any defense happen, so the offense has to be the key .. charlie frye looks competant under center, droughns is proving that he can be dependable with the game on the line, and a receiver corps of bryant, edwards, and winslow III (??? when he returns) is not a bad lineup .
when arizona and cleveland's progress to be along the same speed. just that arizona needs some offensive lineman, and cleveland needs to beef up a little more on defense ...
speaking of the cardinals, i like the development of antrel rolle right now .. i think he can make some things happen with the cardinals like his former UofM man ed reed and the late pat tillman . |

i think kellen winslow can be a major impact for the browns and can really help frye in tight situations . he knows how to play the red zone, from his uofm days, and can really take a lot of space in the middle of the field (6'4" 250) .. he has the potential of being almost as great as antonio gates or tony gonzalez or jeremy shockey .. he runs a 4.62 40 yard dash, which is good for a tight end ... just the question is .. is his heart there ? |

Pro Bowl aka Popularity contest:
Vick, with a 71.8 rating, will be in Hawaii; Dunn, with 3 TDs, will be in Hawaii; Seymour, with 3 sacks, will be in Hawaii; Rogers, with 5.5 sacks, will be in Hawaii...
Where are Vanden Bosch, Ogunleye, or Simeon Rice, Bulluck and London Fletcher, Cadillac or Thomas Jones, Henderson, Reagor and Robert Mathis, Galloway...? |
