stephen davis .

he has had his up and down years, but really carried the redskins during the mid 90s when their offense was garbage , with none other than gus ferrotte .. go figure ..

hes probably not going to get a HOF nomination . however if he was with another team other than the redskins back then, he could have posted better numbers.

i dunno Dillon did alot more with a crappier team, Davis had a decent career, nuff said

what a sunday.

cincy barely winning over cleveland in the battle of the ohio.

pittsburgh laying the smackdown on chicago @ pittsburgh of course . if pittsburgh lost this game, they don't deserve to go to the playoffs. they returned to smashmouth football, controlling the ball for 40 minutes.

new england has their train rolling, rolling over a defenseless bills team, going for more than 40+ minutes time of possession.

san diego goes 40+ minutes of possesion, yet STILL lose to those pesky dolphins and nick saban . if i had to pick a coach of the year right now, i would pick nick saban, because he really did turn this underachieving team around to something . it's going to be a lock for him IF he beats new england at new england on the last week of the regular season, which will decide who will win the division.

So looking at this from a far(italy where NFL doesnt exsist) the NFC South looks quite intriguing. My bet although they beat Carolina today is Tampa Bay will be out. I think that Atlanta can win the next two against New Orleans and Chicago...Tampa has a tough schedule with New England then they face Atlanta(home though) Carolina too has a tough schedule with New Orleans(win) and Dallas..and wrapping it with Atlanta. I think the NFC South will produce 2 teams in the playoffs. Now which will get in? For competition sake I want Carolina & Atlanta.

wow the dolphins beat the Chargers wtf?!?!?!!!
2 straight weeks of awesome wins by the fins. :D
The job Saban has done has been great and much more amazing considering how ed up this team was post Dave "Wannstache".

the NFC South is always competitve at the end of the year .. usually all 4 teams are duking it out, no matter what the record shows .. imo the most competitve division next to but better than the NFC North and AFC West.

the NFC North is just getting chaotic right now with the skins winning today against the future to be best team cardinals (i say 2007) , giants needing OT (as always .. how \many ot games has it been for these guys .. a lot!) to beat the eagles, who have been competitve in spite of all the injuries and the t.o. fiasco, and the cowboys, who decide if they want to show up on sunday or not . well they showed up, and handed one to kc.

the AFC West looks real tight right now now the Broncos winning one out in Baltimore, who plays tough at home, KC, who lost one at dallas, and the Chargers , who just gave away their game to the chargers . the raiders look pathetic right now, losing to the jets .

and don't look now, but it looks like Minnesota not only has a clear look at the division, but also a wild card spot in case if they make a slip or two ( which will be when their next two opponents look tough) ..

and seattle really is starting to steamroll into january. if i was them, i would play their starters throughout the rest of the year to secure home field . how could a team with their best wideout being Bobby Engram right now be winning games ?? alexander the great is saving their butts right now .. hahahahaha

i wasnt contradicting your statement dude .. :o ..

i was just saying that since i am a new orleans native, seeing the saints always having to duke it out with the other nfc south opponents every year is rough and tough ...

but really, i think this whole season with all the teams have been competitve (excluding the texans and 49ers of course .. they have been in close games, but those are games when their opponents are having off days .. )

go NFL !

I think atlanta is going to be the odd team out in the playoffs,i think they are more likely to lose a headscratcher at this point, tampa more than likely loses to new england and then wins out against atlanta and new orleans at home.

PATS are getting in the mood... perfect timing... stroll right into the playoffs playing their best football of the year...

It was just extra sweet rolling into Buffalo, SNOW falling, and just spank them in their home with the snow... that was bittersweet... I KNOW the BILLS suck... but I got extra enjoyment out of that...!

HOw about LT getting shut down yesterday.... unreal... glad I wasn't in the playoffs with LT on my team yesterday...

Who thinks that Kris Brown and the Texans threw that game yesterday so they can stay in the hunt for Reggie Bush? Only reason why I'm interested in the Texans/49ers game at the end of the year?

boy oh boy .. not something to put into the vikings' mentality coming into the end of the season ...

well daunte is deft going to be busy off the field during 2006 when he is still on the bench ..

as for bryant mckinnie, typical UofM .. nothing much else to say ..

as for fred smoot and moe williams .. minnesota better hope that the nfl doesnt suspend smoot for the rest of the year for this, because if not, minnesota's lethal corners (smoot/sharper) is broken in half .. as for moe, he's just another chapter in the moe, larry , and curly charade minnesota's got going ( moe, mewelde moore, michael bennett )
