| Yes, this is probably a waste of time, why dont you let people be what they want, why you have to question them? just worry about your own damn self. |

You'll prolly find those with the biggest anti-gay stance are battling deep within themselves over it all ;) |

i knew i didn't quite get my point across there.
what i mean is yes some guys like it in the p00per from another hairy guy. and some girls like eating oysters.
but why? in the bigger picture why would nature cause some to have these sexual wants? we know why the original sexual desires exist; to cause procreation. why would we need something else?
i don't really think there is an answer to this. |
kr00t answered that well enough while i was busy |

erm, humans want many things we don't need, we've evolved beyond basic survival necessities
some people like horror movies, others comedies, some like rock, some like trance, only fair that some guys could like wouldn't you say? |
ok, but that doesn't give it any biological validity.
then homosexuality is simply an exploration (or some would say perversion) of our sexual practices and does not have any natural or biological purpose.
we agree. |

not so, as we humans are a bit complicated, I would say recreation is a natural thing, as such, sex for pleasure, be it hetero or homo, is natural. |

it may be natural or unnatural by someones viewpoint. that is unsubstantial and relative. what i was talking about was having a natural purpose, or a benefit to nature, or not. sex is a biological tool for a species' survival. same gender sex seems only a tool for individual gratification and holds no biological validity. |

true, but there are loads of other things that we do that hold no biological validity, but homosexuality is always a target by those with such strong anti feelings and use biological validity to try and make their opinion sound valid, when it in essence is flawed. |

pleasure is the primal motivation of life, more basic than the survival need in that that it fuels it. |

your still not getting the bigger picture. why would this form of sex be pleasureable in the first place to some individuals is the mystery. why, when there was already a type of sexual gratification in place that surves a natural purpose, would there be some that are born with (or obtain) a desire for homosexual gratification?
again i don't think there is a scientific reasoning. and yeah there isn't a scientific explanation for everything we do but this discussion is about homosexuality and it's scientific validity. |

because people like different things.
Someone is vegan, another person eat anything, both types of food serve the same purpose, but people prefer different things relating to that purpose.
Sexual gratification can be the same way, there doesn't need to be a reason why, it just happens. |
