Great race all round: From the start to the end, 2 drivers very close fighting for the win, that's already above average, and that pass after Alonso's pitstop! Kimi did the usual race from the back, but 20 seconds from the leader is superb considering the McLarens weren't exactly expected (at least I didn't) to be on the pace of Ferrari, Renault and Honda. Speaking of Honda, I was a bit disappointed with them, thought Button would be up there with Nando and MS. Barrichello was awful, did he spun, had technical problems or was all that due to lack of speed? Awful luck by Fisi too, and Massa would have deserved to be on the points at least - it looks like he's not much slower than MS?!
Good race by Klien, and Liuzzi except for the spin; good battle between Heidfeld & Coulthard. Toyota's were awful again, and I was expecting the Midlands to be a little bit faster. Monteiro did ok, no Albers to compare him to. |

Good race. I didn't really expect Alonso to win, I'm glad he did:p
We'll see what happens next week, Schumi is gonna give everyone a hard time the whole season imo |

| Great to see Ferrari's back in business this season. And Montoy, dude has no damn respect for Ferrari. In an interview after qualifications he was laughing how Ferrari would need to pit instantly after the race starts, in like 4 laps or so... laughing at them... :whip: :whip: |

| Yes! Ferrari are back, although Schuey couldn't take first place i still think this is a great result as to last yrs performance and could've been even better if Massa had not spun out. As for Alonso he is on pace again:( and Honda look like threats this year, this first race has shown that were in for a good season ;) |

to be honest i was quite disappointed with them: after a pre-season when they appeared to be as fast as Renault I'd expect a little bit better performance by Button at least |
