I'm guessing Jenson is light on fuel..
Renault will be the team to beat again.

Haha yeah, thanks for that paranoik0, my maths was never any good.

Renault seem very confident with their fuel level. Estimating atleast four laps more than Button had... can't see them being wrong either. Looking set for a good race though, can't be as bad as Malaysia was surely?

i guess most of you guys are still sleeping.. but what an intense race. so much drama! have fun watching.

That it was.

Bad race for the Williams boys, Nico making all of one lap (you could argue one corner) and Mark's gearbox fusing itself together while in the lead. Sure he wouldn't have won but he was very heavy and should have gotten a podium.:( He was actually doing quite well holding station in 4th when you take into account how much fuel he must have been carting around, and he said after he still had quite a number of laps before he was to pit.

I quite enjoyed that race - lots of action and a fair amount of overtaking. Very bad day for ferrari - i find it strange watching ferrari's pacing round the track very slowly and losing both cars during a race. Excellent driving from Alonso, after getting reeled back in many times and then just breaking away again so easily and yeh, sucks for button, very unlucky race for him.

An exciting race full of spills n' thrills, bad luck for a lot of people including Jenson, Webber and Fisi, im pretty sure if Fisi started in 2nd place Alfonso wouldn't of won. How unlucky for Button to blow up on last lap and last corner and the first moment of the race . And whats the Ferrari boys? MS sliding everywhre the man is losing it, can't exactly blame Massa for his accident it was clearly Coulthard's fault.

In the end, it was an excellent race especially for the Renaults (once again ) who managed to get valuable points. Next race will be on Italian soil lets hope the Scuderia can get a 1-2!

I realise I'm probably alone in my love for Williams here, but.....

I've jst got a new laptop and need some super high-res pics for the desktop. I'll take any team (but preferably Williams) as long as they are a bit of a speccy shot.

Maybe a link rather than posting the actual pic may be a good idea here. Or a link to a site that has some would also be good.

Yes I've raped and pillaged the Williams site and the BAR-Bonneville400 site. For those who haven't been to the Bonneville400 site (www.bonneville400.com), I'd recommend it. The news is a bit slow cos they aren't doing much at the moment, but some of the pics from last years test at the salt flat are pretty damn good.

Cheers.
