Very impressive race from MS, although Alonso did absolutely nothing wrong neither, certainly the team is to blame for the problems in his 2nd stint and the up in his pitstop. The championship is really interesting now, only an Alonso blowup in Suzuka could avoid the decisions going to Interlagos, guess this turned out to be a very enjoyable season after all.

Fisi had a gold opportunity today to take a win home, but thrown it away with his mistake in turn 1 and his strange difficulties to overtake Alonso. There's no doubt he can be fast in the occasional race, but Renault surely must worried about him being their number 1 driver for next season, better hope Kovalainen turns out good.

Monteiro had a superb race until he thrown it all away on turn 1, he's not doing any favours to himself if he wants to retain that Spyker seat.

And the unjusticed award goes to Heidfeld, lost a great 4th place due to a moronic Aguri and a brake-failing Honda seemingly pushed by a McLaren all attacking Heidfeld on the same turn, on the very last lap.

it was the first F1 race i watched from start to finish. Very fun stuff. I was rooting for Robert Kubica obviously, too bad they gambled on changing the tires too soon :(

Not even Michaal would've been able to hold back a car with warmed up tires when you just come cold out of the pits on a semi wet track, nothing he could do at that point.

What?

Michael wasn't on warmed up tyres, he had only done 1 lap with them. Fisi had a considerable advantage when coming out of the pits but ran too wide at the turn, leaving the inside line for Schumacher. It was perfectly possible to block Michael, but Fisi did a mistake.
