| I try to maintain a thread on sharevirus and ed2k-it if people are interested in watching past races. So far I've only started with the 2006 season. |

Renault & Alonso got robbed again today in Quali being penalized down to 10th place for a dubious blocking protest submitted by Massa.
I missed watching Quali this morning, so I will be very interested to see the replay of this "blocking" crap.
I hope Kimi wins regardless. Good efforts from the BMW guys. Jaques hasn't been missed at all.

He wasn't blocked. Alonso was on an outlap, but driving as fast as he could as it was the end of the session and he risked missing the chance of a final attempt. They got "close", close used in a very loose way here, in the last part of the lap, with Alonso driving like 400 meters ahead of Massa.
These "blocking" claims have gone beyond rediiculase IMO.
edit: here's a bunch of pics on another forum |

^^^ Thanks for the pics! They pretty much tell the tale.
Bernie & Max, and their conspiracies. F1 has become totally retarded. Next year will be the last decent year before they go to those stupid split rear wings. This reeks of the Italian football fixing scandal, except with cars. All the top teams were running the mass dampers from the start of the season, in some form or another. Renault just had them for longer, and therefore their R26 was designed more with them in mind. Hence why it's hurt them more.
I'm not even a die-hard Renault fan either. |
