Okay thanks for the info.

If Schumi is going to be WC for the 8th time,
he will stop racing.

If thats his gameplan i hope he get WC next year, F1 will be so dull for me without schumi.

Hope the rumour is right and that he signs a 2 year contract.

WOW!!!

Yeah if the rumour is right.
You know as long as he feels good and fit enough to drive,
why would he stop?

But on the other side, what is his challenge?
He won everything, he broke all records.

But F1 without Schumi is different yes, but there will be oppurtinities for a new Schumi.
There will be a time that maybe a driver will break all records of Schumi.
Maybe

Alonso, Kimi or a new driver perhaps.

We will see

Wait, I'm confused, I just saw the race and I thought Schumi quit, I saw him leave...

i just saw the replay too as I couldnt wake up..you watched it on Speed right? the fastforwarding was confusing the out of me :whip:

Some thoughts on the race:
-quite happy Button won the English media have been overly critical as they are of any sport for a English person. Congrats Jenson :)

-No loss really although Schumi on dry's at the end wouldve been better and got him atleast 4pts

-Kimi does it again:stongue:

Yes Schumi quit, but the unofficial race results were:

1 Jenson Button Honda Racing F1 1:52:20.941
2 Pedro de la Rosa McLaren Mercedes + 30.837
3 Nick Heidfeld BMW Sauber F1 + 43.822
4 Rubens Barrichello Honda Racing F1 + 45.205
5 David Coulthard Red Bull Racing + 1 lap
6 Ralf Schumacher Toyota F1 + + 1 lap
7 Felipe Massa Scuderia Ferrari + + 1 lap
8 Robert Kubica BMW Sauber + 1 lap
9 Michael Schumacher Scuderia Ferrari + 3 laps
10 Tiago Monteiro Midland F1 + 3 laps
11 Christijan Albers Midland F1 + + 3 laps
12 Scott Speed Scuderia Toro Rosso + 4 laps
13 Jarno Trulli Toyota F1 + 5 ronden laps
14 Takuma Sato Super Aguri F1 + 5 laps

So when they found out that Kubica his car was too light after the race, they disqualified him and the rest moved up 1 place.
So that's why Schumi got 1 point

His challenge is as he states it the joy he's still experiencing every single time he's racing out there. He won everything but he's just eager to win even more, alot more. :D

And i'm not that convinced any driver will (ever?) break his records. But then again you never know, ppl said the same after sampras and just look at federer now.

Maybe, but i'ld rather blame it on that bridgestone tire though, even schumacher spun with it this race, and for years he's commonly known as thé best driver of the grid in rain.

Massa had way more of a problem than Schumi who made up 8 places at the start. Massa looked horrid from the practice lap lol. Really bad race for him tyre had some to do with it but more was him IMO
