Avb is my favourite dj of all time and i do whatever i could to see him any night. i would sell my left arm for 2 tickets anyday!
however, he would not sell a stadium, neither steve lawler.

tiesto can because he is known in the mainstream world (reebok shoes, olympics, sarah mclaughlin). which means most people that got into trance were main stream people that heard tiesto's music first. (not all but most)

BUT, avb and lawler both come to canada too often. avb comes to canada at least 10 times a year.

the real winner would be Paul Van Dyk.
world's number one dj (as voted) and hasnt been to canada in SOOOO long!

Hello everone and happy New Years!

We just want to thank everyone for comming out as well asd putting up with the issues we had.

The main reason for Tiesto's late arrival was due to a generator blowing in mid air upon the jets decent in Boston. The pilots are actually very lucky to have landed that safe. From what the jet company told me (full report comming from them with in a day or so as well as a press release)that one of the wings were black and chared due to the fire from that generator. The jet company as well as us SCRAMBLED for 2 hours and finally found another jet in NYC that flew immerdiately to Boston to pick up Tijs. Once landed it took the driver about 1 hour to get to the Bell Center due to the driving conditions.

We would like to appologies for those of you that waited for Tiesto but we can assure you that we worked around the clock day and night to make it the best possible event we could have.

Thank you once again and and more news to follow soon!

well well well... Resolution 2007, all i have to say is what a night!

I got their around 11:30 while Franco Fabi was doing his thing on the decks and i was really impressed. but to be honest with all of you. VICTOR CALDERONE literally topped off my whole night. no breakdowns or any bull like that just stricly beats non-stop!. Calderone's performance makes me really glad because he was one of the main reasons why i decided to go to resolution. Not much to say about Tiesto (not very fond of him). The ratio between girls and guys was pretty decent as well considering the fact that i had a notion that this place was going to be a total sausage fest.

Considering this was my first massive i was extremely impressed! the vibe was off the hook and the music to say the least was just bangin!

ANYONE KNOW WHAT MIXER(S) WAS BEING USED THAT NIGHT?!?!?

I thought it was a pretty good night overall, a lot of you are being way too negative.

First of all the setup was absolutely beautiful. The lighting, wow. Sitting in the seats looking down on the place was just so damned impressive every single time. Great great display.

Second Sun was meh...Never liked them, their whole live act thing. I hate that guy with his stupid mohawk. I just find they suck.

Franco Fabi after them was really good! To go from that trancey e to Pryda - Remember made me so happy! Enter the best part of the night. Franco played some nice dirty tracks, great job in preparation for CALDERONE.

Easily the best of the night. Victor played in awesome, dirrrrrty tribal beats.

Max was solid afterwards as well. I wouldn't say he "saved the night" but he played some good tracks that I enjoyed and he kept me dancing for a while.

After this to be quite honest, the night went downhill for me.

I was kinda excited to hear some good trance after all those hours of house, and then with Tiesto being late it was annoying. Yeah yeah, it's nobody's fault but that doesn't change the fact that it happend. One hour I would've been able to take....but he was so fkin late that by the time he came I didn't even really give a anymore.

That accompanied by the fact that his set SUCKED, and yeah...the night was pretty much over for me. I had hoped he'd play at least SOME more interesting tracks but no. He played basically the same set as Bal en Blanc last year and CEPSUM before that and I can officially say I've lost all respect for Tiesto. I've given him enough second chances and he's absolute . Never again.

As much as I hated his set the crowd seemed to love it. It really was such a TIESTO IS GOD noob crowd though so that was to be expected.

I couldn't believe that when I walked in at about 11pm the place was jam packed, and it was STILL jam packed when I left at 1030am. I was quite impressed with how organized they were in getting everyone in. From the time I got in line outside to the time I got inside past security check and everything took no more than 15 minutes.

Obviously if you get there later it's gonna be more of a bitch people, that's why you go EARRRRLY.

And wow, it got wayyyy too packed. Walking through that dancefloor was torture sometimes, with all those shirtless sweaty in retards blocking the way and bothering me countless times. The packedness, I found, really hurt the fun factor quite a bit. I'd be dancing for a while in a good spot before I'd look around me and be surrounded by shirtless sweaty idiots bumping into me every 5 seconds.

Saw Malek taking pics but didn't get a chance to say hi, saw Anne on the floor as well rocking it! Seemed I was always in such a rush when I saw you Anne, sorry we didn't get to chill and smoke a joint together or something.

Overall I'd give the night about a 7/10.

And it's safe to say I'd rather have gone to see Lawler and D-Formation.

What is it with Montreal and no cameras? I've been to parties in Toronto and NYC, and it was never an issue... they don't allow cameras @ Aria... didn't let me take it in last year for Armin @ RedLite, and same this year. Are they afraid of us taking pics of people ed up on drugs and posting them around the web? What, it's a big "myth" that people take drugs at these shows and they want no proof spreading around? If you see someone walking in with an SLR camera, then maybe they're from some newspaper or something... but the clubbers wanting to have memories of the night, I don't see what's sooooo wrong with that! I'm telling you, had I been able to take my camera in, I woulda walked out one happy fellow. The only party I've been to in Montreal that allowed cams was SWIRL, and THAT was an amazing night... lots of lanes for searching people (not like Resolution and their 5 lines of security), and they allowed cameras in (and that was the Olympic stadium, so it's not like there are "post 9-11" security issues involved).

Organizers ed up, but they're lucky people always want to go out and have a good time so like this repeats over and over.

well... personally from experience and being to so many montreal/toronto, even nyc parties.. i can agree that no cameras are allowed simply because of the way alot of the montreal clubbers dress for big events.. u will only find alot of girls covering 25% of their bodyies in montreal.. and only montreal , and i know for a fact bc ive been to all of the big parties.. so really to me its a thing of super e-pervs taking vids and photos of chicks all night.. i like my gf knowing she doesnt have to worry about some slimeball taking pics of her all night :B

Well he wasn't doing anything funny or disgraceful and my picture wasn't putting him in focus, so he has nothing to say really except to bitch and me comply just to be nice.

Well, that's your opinion, hence the problem with this vauge law.

wow what a night. definately worth the trip from Toronto!

to those complaining about the price and that it was over crowded are obviously under-educated.
we were fortunate to be able to attend that event at the "over-crowdedness" (if you can call it that) at such a cheap price.
Read a little into introductory economics. you'll supply and demand affect prices. at 100$ they still packed the place. if you want cheaper tickets then more people will show and itll be more packed! if you want it less packed then you charge more and less people will go!

tsk tsk. This is not an issue of supply and demand economics, it's an issue of safety on the dancefloor. It was about determining dance area and ticket sales, as most ravers (I hate that word but I'll use it here) dance. Simply put, BeB/GK failed to do their homework in that area and sold too many tickets, thus taking away the best possible experience for many of us ticket holders. Now, that could have been solved by properly capping ticket sales or by booking another dj instead.

Sure they made their cash and stuff but do you really think everyone was pleased with that dancefloor and is gonna come back again? TOTAs don't count.. you guys are used to being abused by the Guv :p ;)

And I'm not even delving into Tiesto's late appearance and lame set :p
