hahaha. Between hmmm 6h30 and 8h15 i was surrounded by some frustrated Tiesto lovers....On the visual screen they said tiesto was coming in 5 minutes i think....well all this time they were screaming T.I.E.S.T.O. in my ears!!! They were not even dancing...just standing there in the middle of the dancefloor.

massive edit for montreal preschoolers, here:

Speaking of cameras..... last nye in the hallway i was walking and saw this kid acting super sketchy and paranoid and he had his cell phone in his hand and when hed turn you would see he had it on camera mode and walking around girls,.. he was literally recording or trying to take shots of girls in the hallway, my girlfriend noticed this.. so i dealt with him because there were no security around,... and by dealt i didnt beat him up morons. i pushed him against the wall, asked him what he was doing, and smashed his phone. omgwtfbbq boohoo omgomgrobbie

Wooow. And I thought TOTAs whined a lot (Although, not surprisingly, TOTAs are the ones doing most of the whining in this thread. Gotta give credit where it's due, right guys? Props). In short, I had a great time. It was the first time I've been to an event of this caliber, and I loved it. Full review + pics later. For now though, I'll say I'm enjoying reading the following in this thread:

People bitch about Tiesto being late -> malek and Max Graham own them saying it wasn't his fault.
So people start bitching about the sound during Tiesto -> Max Graham owns them again saying it wasn't his fault.
Finally they've just resorted to bitching about not being able to bring in cameras and making up their own theories as to why that is so.

Keep making up, I love it when you all get slapped in the face with the truth from people that actually have an ounce of credibility.

Marcolissimo, you don't bother to read that they don't allow cameras inside beforehand, get to a huge ing stadium an hour and 15 minutes before NYE, stand in the wrong line, and then *somehow* it's still not your fault that you didn't get inside in time for the countdown? Here's a clue for having a better NYE next year: COME PREPARED. I've never went to an event in Montreal before, but I did a bit of research, found out what it was going to be like, and got inside at 11:50 even though we showed up at 11:00. Don't feel I'm singling you out though - Spin Laden is spewing so much bull I'm actually having trouble trying to go through it all.

Oh, and also:

I think a lot of the ppl that got cameras in are those that went it throught the VIp or loges entrance....cuz there ppl got searched BEFORE coat check...so basically I could have gotten in with ANYTHING!

That is only half-true - I had a friend with a media pass, and although she was allowed to take cameras in, they still searched her hardcore, so she wasn't able to bring in ANYTHING.

wow what a night. definately worth the trip from Toronto!

to those complaining about the price and that it was over crowded are obviously under-educated.
we were fortunate to be able to attend that event at the "over-crowdedness" (if you can call it that) at such a cheap price.
Read a little into introductory economics. you'll supply and demand affect prices. at 100$ they still packed the place. if you want cheaper tickets then more people will show and itll be more packed! if you want it less packed then you charge more and less people will go!

You should also keep in mind that an artificial demand was created here, by selling the tickets in incremental prices (very basic sales tool). Many would have balked if tickets were selling for $150 right off the bat.

in idiots! People like that made me want to sit in the stands rather than go on the floor. That retard with the Tiesto "tatoo" on his back. All the fools with custom TShirts and little signs they made to show to their "king." Disgusting.
