also no cameras inside afterhours are because of some "clients" who don't want their pictures taken.
notable clients are laywers and cops off duty who are rolling:stongue: |
Well yeah, that's roughly the explanation I was given at Stereo. |

Personally, being from toronto... i can honestly say, that although it was busy on the dancefloor, it is nothing compared to what can happen in the KH/guv. The Bell centre is such an open area, that even though the floor is packes, the arena itself doesnt get overheated. THere have been nights @ guv/kh where one just cant even breath because it is so hot. That wasnt the case last night. i came from toronto and had a great time. Will defn try to make it out for all the other mtl massives. |
Good to hear :)
I used to live in Toronto and have been to some of those same Guv/KH jammed parties and it's no fun. Glad to hear it wasn't rammed like that. |

I tried to google it.. no success so far. My guess is that it is there to protect ppl's right to privacy in Quebec.. these pics end up on webboards/pages and stuff without ppls consent.
Or it could be that event organizers are given more control over their events, as some photos can be injurious to the said company's reputation. These are just theories as I'm still in recovery mode :p |

I guess its hard to impress house heads with a trancey dj...altho tiesto is not so much trance anymore. I on the other hand enjoyed his set the most because I recognized his tunes but I enjoyed the other dj's too. The victor set should have been the closing set because it was very "dark" music wise good for afterhours. |

You take a photo you own that photo. If you take a video however, it changes. If you take a video with no sound, you can do what you wish with the video, however, if there is both an audio and visual component of the video, consent is required. This may only apply to the US- but I'm sure it's very similar in Canada.
This is if you chose to make money/copyright your media. |
