This is a good post. Again, Danny Torrence should be commended for his performance, substituting for Tiesto. My ears are still ringing a bit, so that is not a good thing. Next time I'll be popping in earplugs whenever I'm that close to the speakers.

Fault aside, you can put the responsibility on the weather, only on the dj and promoters. You pay money for what they advertize and promise you. It's THEIR responsibility to provide the product YOU paid for. If they can't meet their own promises then they need to do something in return to the customers, or else they'll just get flamed like they are now. |
^^ quoted from another thread and I agree :p
GK/BeB went for the big buck and it backfired badly, imo. Many Tiesticles went home exhausted and disappointed b/c their hero started at 8:15AM, and some weren't even allowed on to the dancefloor when he finally showed due to crowd overflow. ANF & Mitzutranza, if you're reading this, you got your vindication ;) |

well, I'm hearing 8, 815, now 745am. I trust you since you're "in the know". But 7:45am is still excessively late, which is why we're getting hardcore fans saying they stayed for 10 mins and then left.
Bull. |

Man honestly I love NYE @ Bell Center. I really hope someone keeps throwing a party like this there because they've really grown on me. For the past three years I've been attended the same party and everytime the night proves to be magical. There is something about the venue that is just so intimate and alive.

Could not agree more. The place and vibe really is something. It was a shock to me the first time I came around, and this year has just hammered it home. It trully was an experience. |

| One thing I noticed is that they had super strict security. I wasn't expecting to have someone shove their hands down my pants. I have never been to an event where security was that tight. Oh well, I guess they just have a really big "dance safe" policy. |

^^ I know exactly the track you're talking about, can't help you here. Everyone and their dog is doing some sort of remix of that now classic beat but it got me jumpin for sure.

not bad, though I see our (Ottawa's) Max Graham's in a ton of 'em. House-Pac took some decent ones too, especially like being able to toggle thru pics on that website.
Anyone know if Global Sound or edmm.ca is doing a written review? |
