=P Rumors ...

did not hear that, everyone in the know was talking about plane delay. The promoters wouldn't be happy if Tiesto was deliberately being late, don't forget its the promoters who pay Tiesto not the other way around.

Max Graham - the star of the night and a gentlemen too. Had some good convo with him.

Honestly though guys, I'm pretty pissed that WE PAID Tiesto to arrive 2 hours late because he was getting his sucked downstairs, have him turn on the bass WAYYY TOO high and not notice because of his drunkeness and in general to just have a party for himself.

Okay. He's in high demand, but he;s a ing douchebag. Support DJs like Max Graham that carry themselves in a professional manner because thats what the scene needs. No unreliable S like that gangly crackhead.

STOP MAKING HIM RICH GUYS!!

with all the crapp ur ting out of your mouth, i can only wonder why you even went. If there were extenuating circumstances that he cant control, why bitch at him for it? And WHY MAKE STUFF UP?

Great party in Montreal last night... it would have been better had things gone as originally planned, but somtimes happens. Tiesto still showed up, and played some good stuff.

All the DJs were good in my opinion, but noone was exceptional.

I think it was kinda for the better that Tiesto showed up late. I mean at least every DJ got to play in front of a full house.

The bad: speakers killed my ears in some areas of the dancefloor; ratio of men to women (see comments above); way too many tickets sold as the dancefloor resembled the Guv all access parties in TO (shame on BeB/GK as you guys promised not to oversell in the Resolution thread .. in fact, it got so bad at one point that security were turning ppl away from entering the already jammed dancefloor during Tiesto's set)

Regardless of the music he played or how/why he was late (weather delays flying in from Boston are understandable), to me this is more of a downer for those who went to the party.

Had friends from Toronto came for this one, I would have been there too. I can't say I would have been too thrilled if I felt that it was rammed, especially when the promoters had already said they weren't going to increase capacity etc.

Personally, being from toronto... i can honestly say, that although it was busy on the dancefloor, it is nothing compared to what can happen in the KH/guv. The Bell centre is such an open area, that even though the floor is packes, the arena itself doesnt get overheated. THere have been nights @ guv/kh where one just cant even breath because it is so hot. That wasnt the case last night. i came from toronto and had a great time. Will defn try to make it out for all the other mtl massives.

TOTAs are used to being treated like cattle I guess :p

I hate to quote myself but I previously said in the Resolution thread that the success of a massive isn't just todays ticket sales but in bringing the paying customer back for more. Personally, I won't be coming back to any more Resolutions if they continue to oversell. GK and BeB dropped the ball by making the dancefloor a fire hazard (among other things) ... not what you should settle for when you shell out anywhere from $70-$150 for tickets.

Also, his late arrival aside, Tiesto's set definitely convinced me that BeB/GK would have been better off booking Steve Lawler and Preach instead.. less expensive and better djs by far. Sure, they would have sold maybe 30 percent less tickets but that would have solved some of the capacity issues.

Cue some damage control rhetoric from the Bal en Blanc spokesguy :p

The Montreal new year resolution event was a great disaster, showing up 3 hours late is unforgivable. Booking two events in one night on such an important night is not acceptable.
We unfortunately did not see him perform because we had to work in the morning.
I have to also mention that it is not the first time that he is late for performances in Montreal.

Me & my husband have fallowed Tiesto for years. We loved him when nobody knew about him. We have seen the transition of a man passionate about his art to a man who as sold to commercialism. In the last 2 years that we have seen him there as been an amazing decline. And It is one great disappointment when something like that happens to someone you truly value in your heart.

I pray that this will make him realised that he should go back to his first love MUSIC.

It is over for us. We will not go back to any of is events.

UNFORTUNATELY TIESTO YOU HAVE LOST YOUR CROWN.

It's is time for true talent to shine & for new blood to take over.
