The point is you have no right to tell people what they can and can't do with their camera OR be violent/destory private property.

So you fail.

riiight.. taking in consideration what was happening, you r wrong.

Yeah man, this was actually my first event EVER. Good catch.

Well then stop hanging out at the Docks, Fluid and Guv and go to Bal en Blanc for starters :p

And when you have free time, go thru my "bull" posts in this thread and feel free to refute them point by point. However, I agree with you that Tiesto is getting bashed for the wrong reasons (though to double book in winter is risky) and that ppl who didn't do their homework are whining about the no-camera issue (it was even mentioned in the last pages of the Resolution thread).

As for that TA thug RobbieJLeno..no, we're not from the same city :p ;)

Marcolissimo, you don't bother to read that they don't allow cameras inside beforehand, get to a huge ing stadium an hour and 15 minutes before NYE, stand in the wrong line, and then *somehow* it's still not your fault that you didn't get inside in time for the countdown? Here's a clue for having a better NYE next year: COME PREPARED. I've never went to an event in Montreal before, but I did a bit of research, found out what it was going to be like, and got inside at 11:50 even though we showed up at 11:00. Don't feel I'm singling you out though - Spin Laden is spewing so much bull I'm actually having trouble trying to go through it all.

I guess I thought I'd been to enough of these events to know how things go. Didn't have any problems @ SWIRL and that was a huge stadium too. That night I took some of the best photos/videos I've ever taken.... but like you said, I shoulda read the ticket (which wouldn't have been helpful if the word "camera" wasn't the same in French+English... hehehe) and not tried to take it in. I only bitched in my first post.. I'm just trying to find out what the legal reason is for not allowing them.

no, he's right.

And if a girl doesnt want guys eyeing her, taking pics... dont dress in a way that will make them want to. And if you have a prob, ask them to delete or something. Violence is not the answer.

Im not saying that these ppl are in the right, taking pics without permission, but in this case, 2 wrongs certainly dont make a right. And i would say you are more wrong. It justs creates a bigger problem, and it sucks for you if you piss the wrong person off.

so just for curiosity, u say its a matter of ethics and we all have different views...

so from what i understand, u will resort to violence when something isnt in accordance with ur views.

i wonder if ur girlfrienf always had the same views has you.

actually.. the more i think about.. Violence is for chumps? but getting a camera in to take pics of half naked chicks is heyheyhey more power to you bud!.. ..uh... is this some kind of weird contradiction with values or uh.. am i missing something.. what the hell is that?

if my gf came to these shows half naked (or any other place for that matter) I don't think I'd be too pissed about guys taking pics of her. I'd be pissed that I have a whore as a gf.

But then again, people on drugs *can* do stupid things... not everyone, I'm talking about the stupid kids getting high for the first time. Anyway, as a decent human being I would find it insulting if an event organizer didn't allow cameras inside becaused they thought "you're probably a perverted sleezbag so you can't take your camera in". BeB/GK guys never said anything like that, so no disrespect to them.
