In Québec you take a photo that highlights someone without consent and you start getting in trouble.

That persons is doing something or is in a position in which the picture might prejudice him and you're in trouble.

Does not apply for pictures for private use.
Spin Laden
works the same way for newspaper photos too.

I arrived at the Bell center around 1h30..it took me 10 minutes to find the entrance hehe..no line up...very fast coat tcheck and security tcheck up...i think the Bell Center is the perfect place for that kind of party!! no toilet line up...a lot of place to chill and have a nice point of view of the party! The decoration was really nice and the light show too...but! wayyyyy too much persons!!! no room to dance and breath...at a certain time i had to leave the dance floor because i felt very bad...needed to breath a little bit oufff...thats the only negative point of my night....i didn't came to Resolution for Tiesto. I don't listen to trance but i didn't tought it would be like that...way too fast for us...poor little tired dancers hehe...how can you dance to that music when it's 9 in the morning!! tk....Calderone, Graham and Torrence were good..but nothing special that blew my mind sooo ...hmmmm 8/10 for calderone graham and torrence and for tiesto hmmm 5/10.....

I stayed until the end with a friend because we had still some energy and more room to try to dance on those super fast tiesto beats hehe...The others persons i came with quit aound 9h they were wtf is that crazy music hehe!

Oh yeah and nice visuals effets and very nice vibe...very good looking guys!
Overall....7/10 for the party (because it was overcrowded and music was so so)

I don't understand why though... How does this apply to papparazzi etc? Who determines what position might prejudice him or her? How does this apply to security cameras etc?

thanx Laurent and happy new year to you as well. I was telling my gf about your gig in Toronto last year, cause she was asking about your poster on the wall!!! Hope to see you in Toronto once again so we can at least keep memories of a good DJ playing good music :)

let say a paparazzi catches me playing with my nose and the pic is frontpage of journal de montreal (i am that important:p), well I could sue the hell out of them and win.

security cameras aren't used to film someone in particular nor said footage used publicly.

so if I walk in with a written letter saying I WILL ONLY USE the pics I take for my own private viewing, they should let me take my camera in, right? I have a feeling it doesn't quite work like that...

That's a bull law and like Allied Nations said, how does this apply to security cameras or even pics you, Malek, take at all these shows. Did you promise you won't take pics of "certain clients", or you won't snap a shot of someone who looks a bit too ed up on E???

People let Malek take pictures because he's so lovable. Also, get the rest of the RESOLUTION pics up on to edmm.ca!

if the person looks bad I just don't put them online.

All pictures are reviewed before going online.

I do also recieve messages from people who simply don't want their pic online, even if they let me take their pic.
