there's a lot of other religions that destroy familes too...i mean, it happens, just not as much in the public eye, i guess.
or i guess in the public eye, i mean, a lot of suicide bombers are doing it for their relgiion....and its destroying families (literally, i suppose).
or the westboro baptists...
or the mormons that were led by warren jeffs down in az/ut.
i'm totally playing devils advocate btw, i don't care one way or another...i personally think the scientology thing is a bit ... odd... and banning it , well, i don't know if you can BAN a religion...but those Germans, they'll do anything to make you think their way....lol |

Concidering it costs money I'm sure they can.
I think it's the media threats that gets them pwned by German government.

most religions dont break families up intentionally. most religions arent telling you to shun and disown and no longer talk to your family because they choose to be some other religion or not religious at all.

although they arent mormon. they call themselves FLDS (Fundamental Latter Day Saints) but they are far from being LDS (mormon for those that dont know). i grew up mormon and even though im basically anti-religion, i can attest that mormons dont break families up. if anything they encourage you to attempt to mend family ties that were broken.

yeah, the FDLS is what i was referring too...but they do the same thign - that if you go against them or stray away, that you should disown those family members and not talk to them every again |
