it's really almost perfect in every way. i've had one for 7 years now and still love it! the s62 engine is AMAZING and the torque curve is abundant. the suspension is a nice compromise of roll vs rigidity and the luxuries in the car are nice, even by today's standards.
the e60 m5 is okay... not my cup of tea really. if someone gave me one i'd definitely not turn it down, but i'm waiting to see what the next model brings. i wasn't that impressed with this go around. |

To be honest I haven't been impressed with most BMWs after the E36, E39 and E49 (I think that is what the old 7 series is. The one before the change from IL to LI) models have brought. Mostly they are all ing boats now. |

the e36 m3 is still one of my favs too...
the new m6 convertible doesn't look all that bad to me, but i haven't driven one. |

Well I just hate how they are not as distinctly "BMW" as they were back then. Also, they have gained so much weight, especially the 3 series, that to match the performance of their real ultimate driving machines, they would have to have 500+ horsepower in ALL their models.
Oh and my FAV BMW is this one. Not the conversions either. You can tell it isn't a conversion because of the rear quarter, the rear window, etc.

^ Yes guy. You have solid taste in cars :) I'll have my E30 M3 in balck or white please.
I like the new 130i Coupe though since it reminds me of the E30 but with some touches of the newer 3 series WTCC racer (slightly muscular fenders etc) |

I love the 1 series, but I hate the price. For what it is, it is way overpriced. At least here in the states. :) |

I've had a drive in the 135i convertible...sick ride  much nicer than a 335i convertible imo. Still wouldn't say no to either of them if someone gave them to me
As for the 7 series, we have (going backwards) the F01 (coming out this year), E65 & E66 (2001/2002 - 2008), E38, E38/2 & E38 L7 (1994/1994/1996 - 2001), E32 & E32/2 (1986/1987 - 1994) and E23 81977 - 1986).
also one of my fav BMWs. My father and I are looking into buying one in decent shape and restoring it to its previous glory. But we would really like a M635CSi and they are impossible to find. Every time one comes up its immediately grabbed by collectors and they cost as much as a new small car :wtf:
Still it looks great, as much as i love the new 6 series, the classic one iwth its shark like features looks much much better.
