The graininess in the pics is caused by the camera using a high ISO setting due to the low amount of available light. That allows the shutter speed to be faster so your shots aren't blurry from camera shake..... but yeah, sadly they're grainy instead :/
A lot of point and shoot cams have that problem. What type is it, out of curiosity? |

meh, put a downpayment on a house instead
Its $0.83 at the moment :(
Import tax, luxury car tax, GST, on road fees, transfer fees... it piles on new cars. Probably costs BMW all of $200 to ship them here, but the market is 1/20th of the size of the US, demand isn't that high and people just sort of accept that they're going to get robbed buying it, probably carjacked for it at some point and utterly skinned alive for parts after the warranty runs out.
Exclusivity. /end ;) |
lol you don't buy a 100k car if you don't own a house.
And shipping is expensive as to Oz. |

See where it says "AUTO ISO"? You need to make sure at night that is as low as possible. |

I own several houses and I can't afford 100k cars, that and I'm in (managed) debt out my ass. Well I could, but I just have to get really dumb to start throwing money at depreciating assets... hmm where's the beer.
Someday... :(

This (the ISO thing) isn't image quality. Make sure image quality is at the highest though (SHQ). Let me look through the manual again and see if I can figure it out. |

Alright, the resolution settings you just listed are specific to video.
Also, to change the ISO move the dial to the "picture camera" icon. Press menu. Use arrows to move down to ISO and hit "ok/func" button. Then make sure to set it to like 200 or 400. That is generally a good all around ISO for pocket cameras. |

Well save this manual for later on your computer. It is specifically for this camera. :) |
