by default i was actually going to vote for mccain in november due to the lack of options, but now i think ill stay home that tuesday and watch the paint on my wall dry.

However we are not going to be much better off with obama, ill just take pleasure in asking democrats what "change" has obama initiated 5.5 years from now.

My headache only worsens.

Everyone just shut the up for a day so I can lose it...please!?!?!?

And everyone, grow up. Feels like I'm in the middle of two rallies going up with people bickering back and forth at each other.

Help me. Help me lose my headache. Stand Up. Stand Up and take a day off from politics. For everyone's sake.

Why don't you just stop reading the ing thread? :stongue: :stongue:

The hysteria of Leftards like R!ch, dj Rann, Clovis et al is sorrowfully exhibiting why they are drowning into the murkiest depths of the disease known as Libtardism! What with all the government given idle time R!ch has here to cut, paste, and post nothing but re-hashes from radical, leftist websites. Furthermore, R!ch and his libtard ilk are also suffering from a new syndrome now known as Gov Sarah Palin OCD. Yet R!ch continues to bilk at defending his positions as a deluded libtard.. e.g. "It's one's inalienable right to do drugs and commit suicide." Ha ha. That one continues to evoke painful laughter. Moreover, R!ch cannot offer any accomplishment Al-Barrack Hussein Osama has done in recent years except legislating sex-ed curriculums for 4 and 5 year olds. Or that inflating our tires will solve our energy problem. Or his VP choice bowing to Hitlery while a few short months ago professed why Al-Barrack is unqualified to be president and commander. Or for the fact that Biden's only claim to fame is the RAVE act. Lastly, R!ch, who believes in re-distribution of wealth, higher taxes and socialism, cannot defend why he is in favor of bigger governement and dependency on its teet! Once again, this is irrefutable.

Whats irrefutable is your lack of a basic education.

Anyone with even a reasonable grasp on what socialism is can tell you Barack Obama is anything but...

I suggest you go to school and read books.

but then, just sitting down and watching on the sidelines isn't desirable as everyone should exercise their right to suffrage.

i just hate when people complain about their elected officials when they don't even exercise their duty as a citizen. and remember, though the electoral system may be flawed, not every citizen in this world can freely choose their leaders.

Well then what the are you complaining about?

You're asking everyone else to stop talking about issues far more important than anything else we usually discuss here because you don't have enough self control to stay out of a thread on a trance forum?

Jesus man...

Barack resides quite far left on the politcal spectrum, much more so then say the clintons. Claiming his ideas are anything but socialist would be a bit misleading i think. Why else would you think most of western europe supports him.

LOL, issues are one thing. It's all the bickering between the "leftards" and "rightards"

I'm finding it hilarious...but giving me a headache at the same time. I'm itching to jump but I don't want to look dumb in the end.

Maybe too late for that though lol/

we can complain if we dont like either of our two choices that have been put in front of us by the two controlling parties. And we can make a statement to ourselves by not voting for either. Its not the electoral aspect that is incorrect IMO, but the two party system that doesnt allow non democrat/republicans any shot at a successful campaign.

You think anyone of those two parties will support legislation to abolish the two party system any time soon?

you're made to believe he's "quite far left" on the political spectrum because all the right wing pundits keep calling him "the most liberal" man in congress the same way they attached that label to kerry, but it's all relative and in the end none of them are truly "far left".

wow you've never considered the option of VOTING third party? withdrawing consent from the system is just about the worst way to show disapproval because when you don't vote, you don't matter. your disapproval is seen, but not felt. the smaller the voting population, the more weight that's attached to those who do vote - and you know there are a lot of idiots out there like TASD voting. if you don't care for either party, vote for nader. even if you don't agree with his policies, your vote will impact future elections by creating a viable third party. this idea is not impossible, it's been accomplished in the past.
djjoshuaallen
actually voting for nadar is what i planned on doing should i vote. But have been critized for that claiming it to be disrepectful to his party. Will ron paul be on the ballot?

i like that graph by the way.

also, me being told that obama is "far left" by republicans...you mean like you being told mccain is an extension of "bush" or that voting for mccain is saying that i am happy with the past 8 years of government? Liberals are doing a great job at that by the way, but they should focus on what and how they are going to undergo all this "change" rather then telling me voting for mccain is like voting for bush for another term. Especially since their candidate has done nothing to prove he can change anything.
