Classic.

Let's just wait for Obama/Biden to be sworn in.....oh yeah and for the result of the Palin enquiry, now that she has been forced to stop ignoring the subpoenas.

Something interesting though: Apparently the polls that are being conducted daily have a highly unrealistically low representation of young voters. I think we know that the young people aint gonna vote for the 200 year old guy and the pig (with lipstick).

Still no interviews from her. Oh dear, I hope she's not saving herself for the debates. If the Charlie Gibson interview was anything to go by, she's in trouble......

sadly a large percentage of our young population over 18 don't vote.
From Nov 2006 (all races, both sexes):

code:
Age %Registered %Voted Total 18 years and over 61.6 43.6 18 to 24 years 41.6 19.9 25 to 44 years 55.0 34.4 45 to 64 years 69.6 54.3 65 to 74 years 75.4 61.7 75 years and over 75.5 59.0

Until this changes (which is doubtful) I don't expect any radical differences.
Also interesting to note that for the most part, women voted more than men.

Really though, I think with all the problems shes had her silence is the best thing for there capaign because everything is circumstantial and not as tangible and also they just need to hammer a couple of Key points home even if they are distorted. But palin aside here is some disturbing news.

There was a headline about push polling in Florida targeting senior citizens of the jewsish faith asking them whether they knew that Obama was supporting Palastinian groups. This dirty political style brings one name to mind, Karl Rove. Other irregularities already include
-Not enough ballots in minority counties/stolen ballots
-Not being able to vote in mich. if you have forclosed your home

Just a response as why I don't think Palin was a good choice, and im sorry if they echoes what people have been saying. Not talking to an independant panal of investigators about "trooper gate", calling "Tainted by obama supporters" when in reality there are 3 republicans and 2 democrats. The bridge to no where lie, and the fact that alaska kept the money anyway. Hired her high school pals while in office and fired any oposition. She is that kind of , frankley Matt Damon said it best with a good change that McCain might die in office do you really want her as president...

That is perfect!!!

Hotdog, you're right but the only thing that is different for this election is that the polls are based on the figures (historical) that you have listed. As Obama/McCain really connect with young voters, they are expected to raise those percentages, so the current polls about Obama only being slightly ahead or level with McCain are probably not taking in to account about another hidden 2-3% for Obama.

Talking of Karl Rove, he was on CNN and actually said that McCain and Palin had gone too far with their campaign claims. :wtf: Jesus H Crist :wtf:
When Karl Rove says you've gone too far in your lies and scheming.....well it's like Hitler telling you that you have issues with Jewish people.

Hitler?

Karl Rove and Hitler in the same sentence. I love it. How about weaving James Carville and Paul Revere together. Or Mother Teresa.

Rove is the political Belichick to the democrats.

the scary part about this is that over 50% of the world population is 25 and under - and it's these people that will inherit the policies of tomorrow whether they choose to have a say in it or not. without their voter influence, policy is being heavily catered to voting seniors, most of whom don't give a damn about anything but the survival of social security, medicare, and the 20th-century notion of defense. when it comes to social reform, they favor the nostalgic ideas of the past they came from because they falsely associate those ideas with better times. i know it sounds discriminatory, but i don't think people over 75 should be allowed to vote because what the hell does it matter to them if taxes are raised, deficit spending spirals out of control and government debt soars through the roof? it doesn't. in the end, this is what you get when you vote "conservatives" into power...

ABC did a 2 or 3 part interview with she and they made herself look stupid because she didn't know ANYTHING and her responses were total guesses. Quite amazing, but it ran on the evening news.

Shoulda been it's own show in prime time...amazed how little media it got. She didn't know some of the basic things any political candidate, let alone one for VP, should know!

It sounds discriminatory because it is discriminatory.

A bid of a disturbing position if true . . . your hyperbole is for effect I hope?

Like the graphs and charts you post.

speaking of hyperbole, i only posted one pie chart that happens to be pretty accurate. where are these graphs and charts you speak of and where does the hyperbole come in? the 2009 federal budget is $2,650 billion, military: $1,449 billion (54%), non-military: $1,210 billion (46%) - dispute it.

How about starting with the OMB.
