oooohhh im so late...you guys are too fast! lol
ok...my reivew is kind of pointless...but i may as well discribe my night...Im really bored at work today ;)
I got there later then I wanted...which sucked..but I did manage to catch at least 45-1h or Glenn's Morrison's set. Steven was so psyched to hear Daft Punk...after that- I wasnt too tointo it. Not my style. But it sounded like the first half of his set was more my style- although I may be wrong.
Armin....the entrance was so great!!! omgosh blew my mind away! We went up to the balconies for the first time- thank you steven- as Elyse and I are front row whores so we never even bothered to look up there let alone venture. you could really enjoy yourself up there! I got to jump around to Chakalaka and was lovin it!
I really loved every minute of armin. I think he really brought it and was loving every minute of it right along with us. Im so happy this was no Boston show!!! My gripe- maybe I was spoiled on Halloween, but there seemed to be at least twice as many people there this night. In addition- everyone was ed up. Dont get me wrong...do your thing, but come on! This was excessive. Within my first smoke break I was saving a chick who had fallen over the railing holding us into the smoking section- she barely managed to hit her head on the ground as she FLIPPED over this thing landing head first with feet in the air. If I hadnt grabbed her I guarentee she would have had to visit to ER.
Second "Mom to the rescue" was in the ladies room as some chick fell asleep standing up and went head first into the mirrors in that empty room to the right.....sat her down tried to find someone who knew her...no one did. left her there.
Then....alas, 40 minutes into this I sobered up- due to these instances I think...and due to the TREMENDOUS CROWD! Maybe it was PMS, but I just couldnt handle it. I was getting shoved and spilled on and there was not any breathing room. every time i tried to get to elyse something stopped me. so I spent most of my time away from her and everyone else up stairs on the balcony where i had a ton of room and steven and I really got to enjoy ourselves.
Then the balcony was full of these ed up people lying around all over and falling over themselves....so we went to the bathroom and then commited to spending the rest of the night in the crowd with Elyse and everyone else...
thats when it happend. my straw was just about to be broken.....steven goes into the bathroom and I wait outside. some dude stumbles out, trys to balance himself on the wall as he was passing out eyes in the back of his head....he was well over 6 feet tall scrawny and about to fall STRAIGHT backwards onto cement- head first....I managed to grab a nice guy near me and asked him to help homeboy out.
but...it took the rest of my patience to do so. from that point on my nerves were thin and I just had to go :( We saw Eli and didnt even find Elyse, the crowd was too thick up front where she was
All in all...the show was great...but that crowd and the certain people really ruined it for me. again, I was probably a little sensitive that night...but really this is the first time Ive left someplace because I couldnt handle it.... |

lol yeah there were mass amounts of people completely out of it. i went to the bathroom and 2 girls ended up in the guys bathroom stalls.
later on in the night some really drunk guy was half moshing/drunken stumbling around in the crowd and someone told him to chill out. the next 20 minutes consisted of him asking everyone in that area if they were trying to fight him. if only yankeebaby was there, she wouldve laid down the law |
