^^it was all the dumb bitches fault, stop hating on PVD, if u want something to listen and compare listen to the trance energy sets, he banged it out.
and yeah its really abt what the DJ is doing behind the decks, thats what we paid for, we paid to see nice flawless mixing and nice music than someone doin yoga behind the decks, stretching their arms, jumping around, clapping, jesus pose, heart shapes, hand on the hear weird thing and repeat that with every track. AVB is the laziest DJ imo, even his cue points are saved on memory cards, all he does is beatmatch on there, other DJ's do a lot of other stuff, like PVD does mashups on ableton, live keyboards etc. i kno crowd interaction is necessary but armin just OD's it, kinda gets annoying after a bit, Look at how ferry interacts with the crowd with such a grace. |

hahah i will give u that, armin does do a lotta the hand motions etc... i didnt know he had his cue points saved on memory cards thats pretty interesting.. i still love him tho
yes the interviewer throughout the whole sirius broadcast was mad annoying... She came in on a ferry set while he was playing Made of Love and she was like "Omg love this Old School Ferry Corsten set!"... What? haha.. |

| I am so glad i spent the night dancing my ass off with my girl and my friends than staring at armin like the rest of the gimps in that place. Maybe im oldschool but since when did going to parties become about staring at the dj and jumping up and down when he drops a hot track. Its all the people that stare at him and video record him that ruin the scene, that place lit up like a christmas tree with camera screens recording as soon as he came on like watching a dj do all that gay is so interesting. And yes that pvd did at the hotel in miami was a lil gay but his set in dec was retarded, he had the few people there going ape all night not just jumping up and down blowing kisses to the dj. |

this is where a lot of people have diff opinions. for one, i dont even want to hear flawless mixing. i dont want to hear trainwrecks but i certainly dont want a seamless ableton set.
and it's not like pvd's live keyboarding is anything intense. he plays simple melodies. the only thing impressive is the live mashups that he does - but those don't add up to enough for me to really enjoy his sets. of all the pvd sets i've heard, the ones i've really loved are the ones where he's just DJing. |

| See, I dont care what you're doing up on the stage. I don't care if you have a laptop and a prerecorded mix set (as long as you're not making me pay $70 hehe), as long as I can dance my ass off for hours and hours in a great environment, with great people, then make all the heart shapes you want. that is pretty gay. i hate the fact that he goes around the world playing a lot of the same tracks to different cities. knowing that he's got the cuepoints marked for every track he plays makes it even worse >.< |
